« on: September 22, 2015, 04:58:37 PM »I feel a lot better about our chances in the 2015 playoffs than I did last year.Why? One team is closing out on a major slide and the other one was closig out on a major run. This years ace is broke and last years was at least serviceable. One team had a great HDH and the other team just has D (in more ways than one).
Last year's team finished the season on a slump, had to use their best pitcher in the wildcard game, and had Guthrie and Vargas in the rotation. This year's team has a better lineup and better starting pitching. The bullpen isn't quite as dominant, but it is still very good.
Plus our bats are much improved

I went from a 5'9" 8th grader to a 6'4" sophomore, ended up at 6'6" which is about the maximum before life becomes really difficult.
My inseam is 36, which is as long as they get at gap.com, haven't bought a pair of pants in a store in at least 10 years. Flights can suck but I've always managed to squeeze in, sometimes barely.
Best part of being tall, you put on few lbs. and nobody notices.
Worst part you put on a bunch of lbs. and scare small children.

I don't buy the racist angle. If you watch the video the two guys helping smart up don't react at all. If he had dropped an N-bomb or told smart to "go back to Africa" I would imagine their heads would've snapped.

He's done some consulting work in the NFL and I think I read somewhere that the Browns were thinking about interviewing him. The NFL is his only option.
