I don’t know if I am more surprised that the president says this kind of crap or if I am surprised I am still surprised.

Starter homes used to be available in safer areas.  The city has sprawled so much, I don't know if those are still available at all in a reasonable drive to the city.  Starter homes now seem to be homes that need love that also require you to trade a level of safety as well. 

High crime is the new starter home.

At the very least, Trump has revealed huge flaws in our system that need to be shored up.  2025 is not time to get caught relying on norms, morals, and values as system stopgaps.

Before and after school programs is huge. 

I don't understand what Maga actually wants.  They want mostly uneducated desperate labor, I get it.  They want that labor to have kids so there is more desperate labor, I get it.  They want to get rid of social programs, I get it.  They want to reduce the definition of "able bodied" from 18y/o to 7y/o, I get it.  They want to reduce child labor laws so that those able bodied 8 year olds can pull an overnight shift at McDonalds, I get it.

The thing is, you simply can't have all of that.  If you want all that labor, you have to make it so they can have kids.  Those kids have to go somewhere from the time they are born to when they become strapping able bodied 8 year olds.  What do they expect the bottom 50% of the country to do?

This is such a dog-caught-the-car moment.  It's wild.

Can someone who voted for this post here and explain the plan, please?

Didn't realize Eric got convicted, thought the charges got dropped.

Yeah, I stand corrected. Trump just ordered his DOJ to drop the charges, rather than issuing a pardon.

It was egregious enough that there were a few attorneys that resigned rather than drop charges, iirc.

Appreciate your comments here Spracs. What about the ruling for parents afraid of gay people? If they can pull their kids from classes that mention gay people, can people pull their kids from class rooms that teach or mention religion?

Does this mean that if any certain state doesn’t file a lawsuit within 30days of any EO, the. That EO is effectively law in those states?  Wouldn’t this essentially make Don the law in most of the states?

Started Season 4 of The Bear which came out yesterday (which has been good so far, will probably finish Friday evening)

How does S4 rate vs the other 3 seasons?  I need a dozen or so people to tell me it is as good as S1 for me to get back in after S3.
