I light of ESPNs move to reassign Robert Lee off the Virgina football game.  I can no longer remain silent on Coach oscar Weber.

oscar shares the same name as the photographer oscar Weber.  oscar (the photographer) is surrounded by controversy.

I demand the university act swiftly and remove Weber.

Following Currie's departure, interim AD Laird Veatch was thought to have a better than even chance of getting the full-time AD gig. But sources say part of the reason he didn't is that even Veatch -- a member of Snyder's first recruiting class -- didn't support the Sean succession plan.

Dude can't even be bothered to change out of his collegiate-sports-team-branded shirt and what I presume are jeans and tennies when he enters God's house...

Seems like spracs is pretty butthurt that no high schools want to shell out the $1/year to lease the jayhawk logo. I'm sorry friend.

A quick Google search shows 31 high schools use the Powercat (would be 32 but two schools in TX were fighting over it and one finally relinquished).  As for the Jayhawk, you have 3 high schools (It was four but one closed their doors...surely just a coincidence), and two community colleges.

I don't know if Urbandale Iowa came up on your Jayhawk search but they don't use it anymore.

It was not one of the schools listed, but then again I am not sure the source is credible...

I am visiting my folks in Marana AZ (a nice little retirement community) and we decided to hit up church this morning.  I was sporting a NIke shirt with a Powercat on the chest.  Right before services started the guy in front of my pointed to my shirt at said, "Are you a coach or faculty?"  I responded, "Nope, just a proud alum".  He looked a hair puzzled and even more surprised when I said, "the most fun 5 1/2 years of my life".  Him:  5 1/2 years?  Me?  Yah, too many nights at the bars and cut a few too many classes.  Him: Oh..  Your old football coach is a member here I will introduce you after service.  Me: looking forward to it.    Then service starts and for the next hour I am thinking of meeting Stan Parrish.  I am wondering is he bitter about his tenure with K-State and what is appropriate to ask?  What is his take on Coach Snyder?

Service ends and I must admit I am a little excited to meet Coach Parrish.  I quickly run my daughter to the bathroom and look for the guy so I can get my introduction.  When I find him again as he is headed to the parking lot and he says, 'sorry Coach was not here today'.  A little disappointed we head out as well. 

On my drive back to my folks place I see this, and decide maybe we were not on the same page.

Anyone have a guess when we will hire someone?  This seems to be taking a long time. I guess maybe this is normal?

I can confirm the next head coach is Venables. I sat behind him on a Southwest flight yesterday.  At first he denied being Brett, or even knowing who Brett Venables was, but I pushed him on it for 20-25 minutes.  I kept saying I know who are, I want to know what your plan for the Wildcats.  Finally he copped to it and I quote,  "You're right, I am Brett Venables I am headed to Manhattan to be the next head coach. Now can I go back to my vendor cost analysis for my company?"

I figured that some of you would not believe me so I took a picture.

Who would we hire if we fire oscar? Last year, Brad was the obvious choice. There really isn't anyone out there screaming "hire me" right now, though.

I don't care ANYONE....  Hell hire Doug Gottlieb, if there is 5% chance he only an mediocre coach that's 5% more than Oscar..

Before we talk about candidates for the head coach, I have a few random thoughts.

Wow! what a dunk by Snead with 1:40 left in regulation.  I hope the next coach can get him to stay.

What a kick in the junk that TCU only has 3 road wins in the BigXII. (Are two of them against the Cats?)

We are going to miss DJamer.

So is the first call to Underwood?
