Got to  respect the Mustang here.  This was not the easy hire.  Hire Leavitt and at least 75% of the fan base is quiet to elated.  I'm sure he is getting bombarded with  emails before and especially now,  but he stuck to his guns.  You don't do that  unless  you believe.

 You hire Leavitt and nobody blames you when things go wrong.  With this hire,  he's gone when Cleisman is gone,  if not before

So, should I like just stop watching games then until we change our formula? Like, if this is our ceiling and there is nothing else to look forward to should I stop going to cat games? I wish this wasn't our ceiling, but it is and it sucks.

No not our ceiling. We used to have athletes and play them.  Biggest difference between Snyder 1.0 and 2.0 and I don't understand it.  It's going to kill Juco recruiting too.

I agree we had more athletes/depth, but most JUCOs (which we recruited more of) still took time to work into the system. Bishop was an obvious exception.

We seemed to do a better job of working them in during Snyder 1.0. Especially on defense. I'm tired of seeing Truman and Will Davis when Derricott and Riddle are on the bench with no hope of playing.

Pearl can't even recruit until 2014.  Do people realize what that means?

I would think Pearl could recruit just by posting pictures of himself somewhere with hot babes.

Also in general fans of all schools/teams who get butthurt about someone saying "its hard to win there don't understand coaches and frankly all competitive and successful people.  I mean if you have a competitive bone in your body and someone tells you "you can't win there," I would hope you thought would be "yeah, YOU couldn't win there."  The only exception being if there is something very tangible holding you back from being competitive like an AD who won't financially support the program, horrible facilities, etc.  Unless you think K-State is in that boat, I wouldn't worry about someone saying its hard to win here.  Frank Martin would be the perfect example of that talking point being bullshit.

That's the thing, I don't have a problem with hearing it. Lord knows, we've heard it form Kruger to Altman to Asbury to Woolridge and it's always been a cop out.  I have a problem if (again big if) Frank is saying it, because he knows that is total bullshit.

Kietz's bullshit about Frank should be quiet because Currie gave him a chance is his tuck showing.Currie didn't make Frank a millionaire, Frank, his assistants, and his players made him a millionaire; Currie didn't do crap, he didn't even hire him.  If Currie didn't give Frank a new contract Frank would have made MORE money at Depaul or Oregon.  The loyalty tucks seem to forget that Frank gave K-State the old hometown discount.

it is 100% true.  Frank is garbage.

Currie and Frank are both garbage.

How the hell did we get here?  I'm just so sad.  Just 2 years ago we had the that glorious Xavier game and it seemed like the sky was the limit.  Now we will be starting over just because two people couldn't get along.

You know...I'd heard from some NU fans that K-State had some pretty trashy fans and when I first moved to Manhattan I didn't believe it. This is the first time I've really engaged K-State fans in a way that could possibly be concieved as less than positive and your response has been almost uniformally profane, immature and disrespectful.

I know exactly what those Husker fans mean now.
