Everything mentioned is walkable, including Sushi Den. Train to Pearl St. station, walk a couple blocks down. Boom. If there's something that doesn't appear walkable, Bcycle, train or free shuttle will get you there.

Walk up to Highlands for lots of other great restaurants and have cocktails at Williams and Graham or while you eat at Old Major or Linger. Little Man after.

Snooze is delicious but entirely overrated, so is Green Russell.

There are very few bad places and a million awesome ones, basically just walk around and find something that looks good.

Sorry, MiR. Was a fun regular season, though, you have to admit.

For me, this Avs season has been fantastic, whether they take the division or not. Looking forward to bragging rights when they beat the tar out of Chicago in either the first or second round.

Wow. Union goal, 6-4 just now. Gophers played wildly conservative, Union skated better and took their chances. Now 7-4. Not thrilled, but oh well.

I suppose you could go ask that nice couple to return the phone they found. That would require some "cajones" (sp?), but let's not overthink this.

Yeah they did. Chiefs were the first team to offer him a contract, reportedly for more money than what he signed with Denver for. Manning's camp just lol'd and didn't even dignify it with a return phone call if I remember correctly.

As Chiefs fans you guys should be thrilled even after last night's loss. Chiefs D did pretty good, they let your team play on national TV, and they're still going to the playoffs which is pretty much the highest achievement the franchise should expect to achieve. They may very likely end up with the top seed, and if they're really, really lucky, maybe even win a playoff game. So I don't know what you guys are bitching about.

Five Guys is worth getting worked up about.

When employed by a Manhattan/Topeka car dealership which shall remain nameless (Briggs?) we would go three days a week to Topeka. They had many, many dents in their bulletproof glass in the show room. When taking a test drive with a prospective customer, you had to check in with three people and take a manager along with you.

Long story short, we would hear 2-5 gun shots a day when out working the lot. Can't wait to retire there!

You know another thing that will help drive down prices?

Yep this is huge. Pile the fam/buds in the wagon and two solid days' drive or a cheap airfare nonstop from KC... Or there is no nonstop flight from PDX to MIA so you end up travelling 12+ hours and spending $600 roundy on airfare, or drive to SEA and fly nonstop for SIX HOURS for like $800+, which means you should have just blown that money on going to Japan.

Will crush the college student demo and the general demand from Oregon fans. They're also nowhere near as so I wouldn't count on a big showing from them. They learnt their lesson the last time they faced a defense and aren't apt to spend their hard-earned tips on some boondoggle to Miami.
