Ralph?

Saw him walking around campus yesterday. He seemed fine

I was pissed at that play call. We get Harp in single coverage without having to do a HB pass with someone who doesn't throw as well as Klein (well, as often). Might as well just do a play action pass.

That is odd especially with how receivers are dropping left and right. McFall and Sexton might be our leading receivers saturday.

Anything other than Insight or NYC and I'm good to go. Don't want to go back to NYC and lose.

Would love cotton bowl! But what if we have to play bama  :horrorsurprise:

Alabama will whine and cry about how they didn't want to be there and the players couldn't get pumped up because they weren't playing in the Super Bowl and they have better things to do than play lowly Kansas State after K-State works them, just like when Utah curb stomped Alabama in the Sugar Bowl a couple years ago.  If Bama's players can't get excited for the Sugar Bowl they won't care about the Cotton Bowl.

This. Except we'll still lose by 4 touchdowns

redshirt players do not travel to road games.

Not true. Billy Cosh traveled to every road game last year. Also Sams was at the KU game.

top 50 in scoring and points and top 20 in run defense

while leading the nation in TOP  :flush:

This. Our ball-control offense makes it seem that our defense is passable at times.

Anybody not saying Tetuan is just wrong. Hartman is much, much better than Tetuan.

Tetuan was the worst because he didn't have any years of being decent whereas Hartman was at least passable for awhile. He just can't run now. Watts was a stud before the leg and played his ass off at Auburn but other then that was pretty bad afterwards.

Well when they can rush 4-5 and get to him in 2 seconds then he's not going to have anywhere to throw the ball anyway. Though he did look like last years version of CK in the pocket. 7 sacks isn't all on the O-Line. It's him and coaches too

This was like last years team.. Everyone looks bad because the front 4 does nothing all game.

Kansas State Football / Re: qb intelligence, leadership
« on: October 25, 2011, 11:26:19 AM »
TBH I really want to see him in a situation where we actually HAVE to throw the ball for more than one possession. There's been times where we've come out and thrown 5-6 balls in one possession but not consistently. How much of our efficiency in the pass game is dependent on the defense being overly concerned about the run?

I like what he's done so far. Seems to be pretty intelligent. Pretty good at running the zone read and the option. I think he struggles the most in progressions in the pass game, but that's correctable and I think he's getting better (TD to Lockett last week wasn't his first option). His deep balls (nohomo) have been inconsistent.

Kansas State Football / Re: Rush the field?
« on: October 24, 2011, 11:03:11 PM »
No, don't rush the field unless it's a comeback/close/intense win. We should expect to win this game. I think since a lot of people think we can/should win this game they won't want to rush the field, thus a half-assed rush of the field will not look so good.

If they're grade school age then he needs to get someone pregnant asap. Preferably another set of twins. We'll have about a 4 year break both ways. Roberson/Bishop sons?

If Braden had any kind of balance, coordination or ability to run through people with the ball in his hand, I would agree with you.

Wherever my will call seats are. Hopefully around fellow cat fans, but there's 4 of us so wherever we end up we'll be plenty obnoxious.

Double-decker tacos were the greatest invention in mexican fast food history.

Agree. When they debut'd they were like 99 cents or something.. Now its like 1.89

Homemade double deckers are even better

Forgot who it was that picked up the blocked FG and got shoestringed by the kicker at midfield.  That pissed me off  :shakesfist:, should have run that one in  :curse:

I think it was Malone. It would have been his 2nd touchdown of the game.

We got a TD on that drive, and I would much rather our defense get a 5 minute break while our offense goes down and scores. Granted our offense hadn't scored yet, at that point..

If you've been to any other cfb games you shouldn't be surprised by this review.

Also I'd take BSFS over Jack Trice any day (been to 3 games there). Faurot is a joke because Mizzou fans are in fact a joke. KU is even worse. Stillwater is comparable to Manhattan, pretty similar really.
