all that talent and Freems wasn't near the man Klein was. Wasn't even close.

I'm in this video. Remember that I was not particularly worried about losing.

So did you have to tear the neck off the pak head?

No, just folded the goEMAW.com portion back. In hindsight we probably could have just put tape over the ".com".

Well, I think that went well. Thanks for the idea/images everyone.

:bill: <-- found a nice home in our guest bedroom, but may be willing to travel if somebody wanted to do this at the next Gameday.

Well, they turned out better than I could have hoped (Ms_ajc had a lot to do with that). Didn't really want to repeat the TMB thread, so I'll just give a view of the final product.

On a side note, Bill has been staring at me from across the room; I feel like I could perform better than my talent level.

If anyone is curious, there are dowel rods down the back of both, and we have two 6' poles for tomorrow.

Couldn't I just say it is my grandpa in his favorite KSU gear? Also he likes to wear headsets...

Had both of them printed with a plotter (being a grad student does have a few advantages). They are 54" by 36". Still need to mount them, but I'll have time later this evening. The image is pretty poor -- standing on a chair with my hands above my head to get them both to fit.

Anyone have a version that I can blow up (higher resolution)? Also, something with more prominent kstateness.

I can email it to you at the email you registered here with.

Please do. I might make one of each. I grabbed the Bill from TMB.

did you get the hi res version that chunkles posted over there?

Yea I think so. Unless there is one better than 1332x2047?

I'm pretty hopeful that we'll make it on air. We did several times last year with only a flag, and that game was much more hyped -- the b10 being so shitty this year should help. On a side note, last year we asked Herbstreit if he'd be in Manhattan the next week and he very confidentially that they were. He knows he owes us one.

I live in East Lansing. Anyone have a request for a Gameday sign? I do not have the flag like I did last year (Wisconsin/MSU game).

I was at this game, and I can say that I never once felt like BSU had a chance. They only had 2 field goals despite getting four turnovers and man-to-man coverage a majority of the time.

The front row tonight just proves that K-stateo has infiltrated the bball program.

It's always been this way.  Always.  Front row at football and basketball was always dork-ville USA, population: K-Stateo.  The ref shirt guys (there were like 8) were always there during the Wooly years, probably the most K-Stateo thing in the OOD history.  True elites don't get there early enough for front row.

I have a very good reason to hate you now (before, it was an "OK" reason).

what message would that be? That they out-rushed us by like 150 yards? Nothing to brag about today, dude. (although a win is a win I admit)

Message too subtle I guess

I never want summer in Michigan to leave.  It's AMAZING here in the summer.

Tough crap.  Get ready for 9 straight months of limited sun and freezing temps.

Fall is great, too.  Leaf colors are AMAZING.  Local vocab includes the phrase "Color Tour", because the leaves are so great and the locals are so dorky.

Plus it means apples are in season!

And then comes the beautiful, constantly fresh lake effect snow.

Spring is actually the worth season here, by far.

(side note:  locals also seem to think that Michigan has a monopoly on seasons or something for some reason.  They were like, "yeah, at least now that you aren't in KC you will get to experience 4 seasons".  WTF?  F*ck you, you ignorant dumbshit.)

The only fall colors that matter in Michigan are maize and blue.  GO MAIZE AND BLUE!!

ridic.  You nailed it.

I'll have to completely disagree. I just started graduate school at MSU. Also, on a related note, shazbot! you.

ajc!  Let me know if you want to pak on the lakeshore!

I'll probably HAVE to do that. Grad students here can  ok, but they suck at  :ksu: (but with a sparty). Plus I'll need some sort of kat konnection. They are not going to like me up here when we knock msu out of the tourney.

Link?

“I will say, as we have experienced in the past in our program, it is not at all unusual for the NCAA to look into many of the country’s top-rated recruits each year for any number of reasons,” Self said.

Geezer is correct.  KU has consistently landed top talent.

However, these sorts of issues didn't happen under Roy.  Bill understands that you have to make some ethical sacrifices to stay on top.  I'm jealous.

Delonte who?

Are you dumb?

Think we can get him to come to MOAP?

Mother of all 'paks?

Heard from a VERY close source to the DC Assault program that Seagears might be as good as Cook. Not kidding. He just said Jerome is flying under the radar big time because of Quinn.

I sent J.S. a message on facebook, here was his response:

This goEMAW.com recruiting update was brought to you by Pett.

I think it is unhealthy how excited that comment made me.

Dude, you can't compare the teams Akeem played on with the E8 team of last year.  Just substitute Wright for Sutton on last year's team and ask yourself if that team would be better or worse.  Both were very good defenders with limted offensive skill sets.  I think that Akeems passing and ball hanling abilities may give him a slight edge.

I absolutely love Dom, but I don't think this can be denied.
