Kansas State Football / Re: 2025 - Week 0 - Overreactions
« on: Today at 01:11:20 AM »
My parents where here this weekend and my dad wanted to cookout for the game. I made brunchy stuff for us on the griddle. Ms TBT came over and we all watched the game. I honestly didn’t even really watch/pay attention to the game until the 4th quarter. We all watched the last part but WELP and disappointed with the outcome.

HOWEVER, it didn’t impact us at all. We went out and enjoyed the beautiful day in south Texas. We had an amazing dinner and I didn’t even think about KSU cats football at all. I enjoyed time with the love of my life and my family.

I had like a billion group text messages and junk from people but man. Go enjoy your life, guys. Who gives a crap about this really dumb thing called football.

Sports betting is not legal in TX but Kalshi is. I put $100 on the game, is that enough? Should I put a couple of farms on the cats???

Deserts, empty lots, top of roofs, parking lots, land famers are willing to sell. It's not like they're kicking anyone out to do it. Dax acts like it's taking land to do it. Height of stupidity, but what lese you'd expect from this blog's jester.

So you want farm land used for solar farms? How positively stupid.

As far as the rest, what in the world are you even talking about?

Farmland is increasingly being converted to large-scale solar farms, a trend driven by growing demand for renewable energy and economic incentives for landowners, but it sparks debate about the impact on prime agricultural land. While solar farms affect a small fraction of the nation's total farmland, specific regions and prime soils are more affected. The practice of agrivoltaics—co-locating solar panels with agricultural activities like grazing or growing certain crops—offers a potential solution, enabling both energy generation and farming to continue. However, many projects are still being built on land that was previously dedicated solely to crops, leading to concerns about food security and the long-term use of prime agricultural land.

Again . . . if the usual giant derps want to tell themselves that "green" energy is going to meet our needs, then please continue to post so I can  at you.
lmao the non-bolded text betrays your entire point. Also how did you possibly obtain a degree in higher ed without any ability at all to provide or cite sources? To borrow a phrase... 'please don't tell anyone that you went to Kansas State"

Waks . . . confused by "However".

It's very very onbrand

I am going to give waks a break because I understand he was just being his usual weirdo ragey stalkerish self

You should start a Thursday However Ireland edition on the football board bud

Great show

I think as long as they have running water and toilets that actually flush they got a upgrade. Anything over and above that is just a cherry on top.

Ms TBT got me this one about a week ago and I love it. Replaced the old one I’ve had forever. Cleaned up some of the cards and junk that I didn’t need anymore too.

https://ridge.com/products/carbon-fiber?variant=41322082382

how is the size? i've had one of these forever and its great aside from carrying any cash whatsoever. I despise having things in my pockets so I don't want anything bulky or heavy. I don't normally carry much cash anyway so it isn't normally a problem, but when I do it's a pain. your thingy with the strap seems like a decent option to be able to carry more than 3 bills.

I like the size. The one I had before was almost the same size but the money clip part was a little thicker. So it’s slightly smaller and very minimal. The only difference is how the cards come up because my other one they would come up vertically and now they come up longer side first. I really like it though and it’s pretty slight with the carbon fiber and I like the design. You can change out stuff too if you don’t like they money strap or want the clip instead.
