Fiesta Bowl, Jan. 3

Man, the Mayans really had it out for you guys.  Funny how they waited to end the world in december the same year you guys play in a Jan bowl.  Tough break.  :chainsaw:
One of these guys is dr. j. I will figure it out one of these days.

it's not me.   Or is it?

Can we merge all the squawk sucking up to us for whipping Missouri's ass all over the floor and the sidelines and even onto their bench, into one thread?

Negative.  Wasn't sucking up, just saying thanks.

I'm trying to decide who will be our next rival.  I want it to be you guys, but that would be like hating your little brother.  Hard for me to do when most of my family are wildcats.

no thanks, west virginia is our rival in basketball now, and texas has always been our football rival.

maybe tcu?  then you can still use the "grapes" thing?

wait, did you guys lose your rival?  Iowa state is still B12.

I think for football it should be Missouri State.  For basketball KSU or WSU.

I think it should be wichita state for football, at least for the next few years.

It's settled then.  That was easy.

I haven't been back to wichita for a while, do they still have a football stadium on campus there?

Iowa State is looking for a pairing.

Really, can anyone hate iowa state?  I don't think it's possible.

Also, does Steve Dave still live in Omaha.  Please get a message to him that I will be up there for the NCAA tournament if he's looking for another epic gorilla alley style street fight.  This time i'm not running, you hear me SD, I AM NOT GOING TO RUN FROM YOU THIS TIME, YOU WILL HAVE TO FACE ME LIKE A MAN.  :comehere:

Also, Taylor is far better than any of our guards.

He is the absolute polar opposite of Will Spradling, I wonder how I would react to Taylor if he was our point guard.  He's played 8 games against BCS conference teams he has 45 assists and 39 turnovers in those games.  He's 35-86 from the field and this includes a 8-10 shooting performance against USF and a 9 assist 2 TO game against USC.  If included LBSU and Davidson these numbers would be much worse.  To me this is borderline unacceptable for a senior point guard that has played a siginificant role for 4 seasons.  I love guys with the ball that make things happen but holy hell he's careless.  I'd expect when Will and Angel are seniors they wouldn't have numbers like Taylor's, but he's undoubtedly talented.

agree with all of that.  never really been a fan of his, he always does something stupid in each and every game.  Sometimes multiple times a game.  I just really don't know who else to put in there.  I'll go with the company line and say "at least he plays aggressive"   :grrr:

And now it all makes sense.  You guys have had a pretty decent week on this board.   :dubious: Must be nice to have a good football team and then this entire thread.  The only famous person happening I can remember is when freaking Don Johnson mumped up the Rock Chalk chant right before the OB.   :embarrassed:  Nothing this cool happens for us.

the producer that talked about us on-air is now a poster here and loves us.

:lynchmob:

I figured he was just another punk that steve dave beat up and is all butt hurt about it now.

I think he was smart enough (K-State grad) to see his ass beating coming and decided to change his ways before it was too late.

I thought you guys where hogs or something like that.  Don't take this the wrong way but that is not a picture of a hog.  Sad product of one of the worst education systems in the US.

you missed the comma i should have put in there.  thanks for looking out GP.

You're not even a true fan board?  By the way, who the hell is this arkansas that you guys are playing in your bowl?  Didn't realize you could play a D2 school in a D1 bowl.  Really hurts your image nationally.

or raise your daughters not to be sluts.  one or the other.

i'll go with your idea here steve.  I'm kinda excited.  I'm from southern kansas and never really trolled much into the northern part of the state.  I don't mind living in Manhattan it's just that my wife is a small town girl so i'm trying to make a compromise here, I should probably just do the husker thing and beat her up and tell her where she will live.

You'll also find a fair amount of Jayhawk pride in Wamego, should you choose to move there.

I live in nebraska now so this isn't really something i care about, but it would be nice to see at least one other jayhawk fan.

KS > NE. Come home, TSC.

I'm pretty sure I'm coming home, will be nice for my husker wife to see what the last 10 years has been like for me living in hostile territory

In general, the upland bird hunting is pretty damn good north of MHK in the Tuttle Creek wetlands.

Very good to hear, would hate to piss off my shorthaired pointer by moving someplace with no birds.

I am being offered a job in Manhattan and could really use some info on the town.  I have two kids and am looking at the wamego area to live.  I've only been to Manhattan once for the interview so I really don't know much about it and would like to know some things,

1. Is this a good place for a family
2.  Is there plenty to do
3.  How is the pheasant hunting
4. Does Steve Dave frequent the area (so we can fight)
5. where is the best place to find rental homes, preferably in the country

Thank you, that is all.
