I think this is great news.  Since the games start at the same time, I was worried by the time K-State had ran away with the ISU game Sams would have given McNeese a 35-point advantage over Nebraska and would be sitting with the rest of the first strings.  Now I can switch over just in time to see Sams get in the game (which I'm thinking would be around 8 minutes into the second quarter of the K-State / ISU game).

Sams will come in during the 3rd possession

What in the absolute eff?  Doc?  What in the backwards hillbilly hell is going on down there?

Turns out our No. 2 guy from last year was pushed enough by Daniel to not want to give up the starting roll.  He's been throwing the hell out of it.

Daniel making everyone around him better.

Still,  Sams will get the starting job as soon as he picks up the passing game.  I bet he starts by conference time.  He just needs time to pick up the passing game a little more.

 I'm ready to see him in action!

i don't think marshall is fcs

They were when he played there.

Does McNeese play at Washburn this year or is it a home game?  Wouldn't mind driving to Topeka to watch SAMs play.

You will have to Drive to Lincoln, Nebraska for our closest game to you.  We play the Huskers this year in week 2.

BTW.  Sams knows McNeese well because he attended games their as a kid watching his very talented uncle play.

He is exactly what we need right now.

He will totally dominate the D2 secondaries.   No way those kids will be able to keep him in front of them.

Too bad he will still be playing in D-1.

I think if he goes to McNSU, he will probably become their greatest QB ever.

If he can throw 75 yards like KJ did for the NFL and CFL scouts, and throw accurately, then he could very well be.

Well if he comes he might be the best Athelete and maybe our 2nd best QB.  But he can't touch Kerry Joesph our all time great who will probably work with him in the summer.

I hope he becomes a Cowboy like his Uncle BJ Sams was.

As a McNeese fan I am curious as to how you might have confirmed that he will be a Cowboy?  Things are very quite at our field House.

Well if you get him you should be very excited because he's going to be your best QB ever and it won't be close.

Our fans are a bit snake bit in regards to transfers that said they were coming and then backed out. 

We typically don't believe it until they are enrolled.
