If you want to party, Memphis beats San Diego by a bajillion. 

False. San Diego nightlife has gone up since the last time K-State was at the Holiday Bowl. But if you want to stay close to the stadium (which is a craphole) then you're SOL.

Plus San Diego has one of the best craft brew scenes in the nation.

The stadium is in a horrible place with nothing around it. Tempe is really the only choice for a good time and a long way from the stadium. I don't know why they didn't keep the game at Sun Devil. 

They upgraded to a better stadium.

Went to a cardinals game there back in 2006 or 2007 can't really remember. But it was awesome.

If you can take a tour of the stadium I would suggest you do.

I wasn't at the legendary OU-punt block game, so I can't judge that one.  But the loudest sustained cheer I've heart at the Bill was after Snyder came back and beat KU.  That was a moment where a lot of 'Cat fans felt like the the sins of the Ron Prince era were washed away and 'Cats fans let out a sustained, turgid cheergasm bathed in full- blooded EMAW.

Finally this gets mentioned. Granted I wasn't there on Saturday and only attended games from 2008-11 but that game was super loud. Girl I know that lived in the Woodway apts said her apartment windows were shaking after the game.
