Ku fan boys have assured me o north guy is there's along with some de from lawrence ou is recruiting.

FWIW, I think KU gets Bledsoe. Simmons has never seemed too high on KU, and Missouri, Nebraska and now Clemson would be a tough trio to beat out. For my money, Simmons is the top recruit in the state.

Is the "Midlands" east or west of the middle east?

BV was at Olathe North today recruiting Isaiah Simmons. Might get him, too.

Also, will drop some news for ya'll... Since it looks like Josh Fatu is off the board (likely Hawaii bound), the Wildcats are making a late run at Butler DT Mychealon Thomas. He is a longtime Texas Tech commit and going to be tough to pull, but Blake Seiler is there today. Thomas told me he's likely going to visit Manhattan.

I'm not really sure how to take that.

Me either.  But it seems bad.  I mean, he is recruiting for Clemson, right?  He can't be recruiting for KSU if he hasn't even be employed/announced yet, right?

Are these recruits that are juniors in high school?  That might make a difference.

Seniors, and it's very much for Clemson and no reason to think he would be recruiting for anybody else any time soon.

Today is Juco Dec grad signing day.  Was it also for High School early grads?  Here's Corey Sutton

https://twitter.com/CNorthlake/status/677226469979004928

You saw a lot of mid-term high school enrollees go through "signing ceremonies" but in reality they could have signed their financial aide agreements at any point after September 1, which most of the high school kids going early to K-State did.

he's got some sick runs on that highlight vid

If he's '15 he's ours for sure, right?

If his academics check out, then yes, he's a 2015 guy that would be there for fall practices. Hearing from contacts that K-State really wants to get back to the QB run game in 2015 and the Wildcats really liked this guy. Delton is K-State's best bet but it's hard to put the pressure of starting in the Big 12 on the shoulder's of a true freshman, so this certainly would give them some additional insurance at the position. On film, Banks doesn't look like he has the best arm around, but he's a blazer that can really make people miss in space.

Tweeted this but thought I'd pass it along...

Solid weekend at #KState on tap with at least 6 visitors like in-state S Darreon Jackson, juco WR Camion Patrick and ATH Darreyl Patterson. Other names expected have already been reported such as Kyle Ball, Evan Curl, Aulelio Olomua, G.G. Robinson, and expect some walk-on names to pop up, too.

Greyshirt offer out to Brett Bell, cousin of Blake Bell, and teammate of Denzel Goolsby

One out to Tyler Burns, too. I would be very surprised if both Bell and Burns aren't at K-State. Bell wants to see if other offers develop, but all signs (wink, wink) point toward Burns wearing purple.

nebraska not honoring their offers? what a gutter trash program.

Keep in mind, it's not really a two-way street. Not defending Nebraska, but don't forget they can't tell their side of the story to the media since not allowed to talk about recruiting in public. Most coaches I talk with believe Dillman isn't going to be a Division I player. Heck, he played JV football this season and had injuries. There's two sides to this story that we don't get through Twitter. :)

Shared this on Twitter, but thought I would pass this along here to feed the recruiting animals... Also, shameless plus here: I don't always make it to forums to share information, so give me a follow if you haven't already @JeremyCrabtree

Big weekend on tap for #KState. Commits @adelton005, @ScottFrantz54, @PeeBeeAndZelly, @big_apple55, @chasejohnston13 & JC DT @DeonteReynolds.

On @ScottFrantz54 #KState coaches Charlie Dickey & Del Miller visited w/ him tonight.  "They have nothing to worry about. I'm 100% Wildcat."

Earlier this week, #KState landed No. 11 JC DE Aulelio Olomua (http://es.pn/1wiBXw3 ). Reynolds (http://es.pn/1wiBYQJ ) is No. 46 overall.

quench our thirst, Crabby !

As of this morning, folks in Lawrence, Manhattan and on his coaching staff in Wichita thought he was going to KU. Then he showed up in Manhattan unexpectedly wearing K-State gear. I know it's not popular here, but I like what KU's got so far. But guess it would have being awfully weird to hear Goolsby in Lawrence.

After visit to #KU on Tuesday, Denzel Goolsby (@PeeBeeAndZelly) is @ #KState today. Said last night would have decision today at some point.

Heard he has already committed to us.

;-)

Was told, it was a total surprise visit to Manhattan today. Sent a lot of folks scrambling.

Denzel Goolsby will most likely commit to KSU tomorrow

I'd be surprised if he picks K-State today. Hearing he's KU bound. Sources indicate they like Alex Barnes the best out of the RB/DB/ATH mold in state kids. Some think this will also help K-State go get another better athlete out of Georgia now, too. They also did just offer Tyler Burns, too.

Hearing now this one isn't over yet, and one source told me it's now 50-50. Was told something's changed since this morning, but what I don't know. Welcome to recruiting. :)

Going to be interesting to hear what happens next, especially after today's developments. Will be able to explain more later.

Hey Crabby do you know our chances of landing GA DB/ATH Duke Shelley?

At this point quite good. He's digging Coleman, and some of the bigger SEC schools have already filled up with guys like that. He would be a good get for the Cats.

Thanks Crabby, how does K-State look with Barnes?

He's still open at this stage.

Stud Rob Cassidy reports our next commit is WR Isaiah Zuber out of Georgia.

http://espn.go.com/college-sports/football/recruiting/player/combine/_/id/177309/isaiah-zuber

Try watching the junior video which isn't on hudl.  I like this kid.

There's a lot to like about this kid. Hearing the coaches are quite fired up about him. It'll be interesting to see if the SEC schools make a run at him later in the year. He's the type of prospect that with a good senior year, suddenly could become a player of interest with folks.

Andre Coleman deserves a lot of credit here, but so does Ronald Moses, K-State's Academic Counselor for Football. Moses is somebody that's behind the scenes that does a lot of good stuff for K-State recruiting.

thanks crabby. any insight as to what Marquise Doherty or Josh Moore think about our wildcats?

KSU has a legit shot at Doherty. With Moore, I don't think K-State is very high on his list. Also, not sure if K-State is as high on him as other schools.

So, are we going to get any more commits this year, or are we going to just roll with Delton (clone him maybe)?

More are expected to come during camp, but also don't be surprised if you see a few new members of the 2014 class. In true LHC Bill Snyder fashion, hearing some rumblings that some junior-college prospects will be visiting in the next few weeks.

crabby- rockabelly deli... it's tearing this board apart. i love it. the residents dorks don't. any thoughts?

Been so long since I've been there, so it's probably best to refrain in throwing my opinion in on the topic. I never was a huge fan of it back when I was in college, mainly because I had other favorite spots. That, and I was working too damn much at the Collegian to spend a lot of hours in Aggieville.
