I have to back 7 hours off their deadlines.It's a very minor thing and they are basically interchangeable but when people use Daylight/Standard time incorrectly it grinds my gears.Honestly my peeve is even the existence of CST or CDT. I always cut out the middle letter. I don’t correspond with people that insist on living in their own personal timezone.

NO, we are currently in CDT and have been since March. We will be in CST in November.
I have no problem with people say "Central" or CT....But if you are going to put CDT or CST in the description please know the difference.
