Illinois has three players whom weber recruited transferring. Could we, would we, do we want any of them? Shaw, Langford, and Djimde are all Sophs. a two, three, and four star. Played very few minutes last year, but all have good size. I imagine oscar at least talks to them.

oscar is coaching a team full of upperclassman who went to the second round of the ncaa last year. i don't see it as doing better with frank's players. the big 12 is sub par this year. i'd say oscar is doing just fine. anything less than getting to the second round will be a fail.

what are the chances we get thrown into a bracket with ku, ou, and illinois? would be the illinois coaches championship bracket. winner gets a bushel of corn.  the selection committee always loves these types of back story games.

honest question, do you think oscar might have a touch of aspergers?

more like a touch of downs.

in any case, oscar has proven he can coach someone else's players and thus the great season so far. his problem as i've heard is not that he can't necessarily recruit well (leonard from illinois was a lottery pick) but they weren't a good fit for his motion offense. he deserves a few years and i think 3-4 years is what it will take to see whether his players either 5 stars or 2 stars are a good fit for his schemes.
