Two Questions.  Mr. Bread is probably best equipped to answer but any other info would be appreciated.

Who is oscar Weber's Career best 3 star Recruit?

Which one had the best freshman year?

 :dunno:

It's a tie between Jamar Smith (who got drunk and nearly killed his teammate in a car accident, was eventually kicked off the team)  and Mike Davis.  Davis is a career top 5 rebounder at Illinois but Smith had a better freshman year than Davis, established himself as a sharp shooter.

He looks respectable enough here.  I'm going to go run and hide now.

Well here's my BW experience.  When i worked at a local dealer as a service advisor he brought his "demo" in to the shop while i was working alone.  He wanted me to show him how to activate the running boards for when he stepped out of the vehicle.  This was a new model so i had not seen this specific feature yet but it took me about 5 seconds of looking at the dash to figure out how to do it since there was a giant RUNNING BOARD button beneath the cd player...  He was also shifty and awkward with me and came off as slightly Aspergers...  ---- http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Asperger_syndrome

Ohio State's President already told everyone that the Big 10 wants to add KU and Mizzou in the next round of realignment.  Sorry, boys.  K-State is too pud.

And was shortly after forced to retire.  KU will be in the Pac4000 before ever getting a whiff of the BIG 10.

5
We dont want them, Big Ten will take KSU before KU.  Football rules all.

I am so so sorry you have to go through this.  This proud school deserves better, dont worry guys, there's light at the end of the oscar Weber derailment tunnel.

It should be no tall task for KSU to finish in the top 4 of this shitty conference every year.  I mean...ffs Bo Ryan finishes top 4 every year in conference merely recruiting to a system.

MOTION!

Do you think part of the new contract involves getting a ice cream stand not to be named put outside his office window?

Take the pics and shove them up your ass.  No one wants to see.  This is a oscar Weber board.
They are digital, so should I shove the flashdrive up my ass?

I hear it's easier to get drunk that way.

The third area is probably back east with the prep schools and the connections we’ve established with our New York kids

Who is the "we" in that statement?  Illinois guys, did oscar have a connection to NYC while he was there?

As i recall he never pulled a recruit from New York, got Chester Frazier from Baltimore and Djimde from an east coast prep not in NY, and got one of his big men from Ohio. He could have recruited anyone he wanted to while he was at Illinois and he did the first 3/4 years till he started losing with his own recruits, then he started going after the big name guys who didn't fit his system.  Then he subsequently blamed the players, the fans and eventually his administration.  I've met him personally outside of his element of basketball and he came across as half a tard.

I always liked watching Acie Law IV play.

My bad, i thought it was a buying in or not thread.  Guess my comprehension isn't what it used to be.

Okay. Thanks for taking time out of your day to tell us about the future. FWIW, I protested his hire, just have nothing to complain about yet (besides maybe making excuses for losses without ever putting blame on himself). I like our incoming recruiting class. And he did just win us our first Big 12 Championship in 36 years. I'm not saying something like that won't happen, but why do you get enjoyment out of telling us oscar is going to drive us into the ground in the future? Does it really make you feel better about what he did to you?

No, i'm a KSU fan myself, i hope he has lots of success but i'm more jaded than most considering UofI and KSU have always been my two favorite teams.

Illinois fans so so weird (sorry bread not you).  They came here in droves after we hired him, now some are back after he wins the conference.  So very strange.

Oddly enough i've been a KSU fan since 1997 when my great uncle who lived in Manhatten converted me.  But i live in Champaign, so you can imagine the frustration when he left UofI for KSU.  I usually just read forums and dont usually post but you guys have decent enough senses of humor.

why do you think oscar couldn't land the point that he needs to be successful?

TBH i dont think he knows what he wants in a PG, he's always been all over the place with his PG recruits from his time at SIU to UofI.  Like i said, as long as Lowery is on staff he has a better chance at being successful, he wont have to go on the road and try to sell as much.  He's an awkward bad recruiter so hopefully he learned from all his mistakes.  But until he's got three years of his own players and is still winning, i'm not buying.

Yeah, a huge roster full of wings who couldn't dribble the ball past the half court line?  Oh and Illinois has a sophomore combo guard trying to run point.  Yeah he did a fantastic job putting a group of misfit softies together up there.  The collapse will happen, it might not be next year or the year after, but it will happen.

You're a sucker if you're buying into oscar Weber, he might do better with Lowery on his staff but he still wont recruit good enough once Martin's players are gone to finish better than 4th every year.

20
Short answer, no.

Long answer, based on all of oscar weber's coaching history dating back to recruiting at purdue for senor comb over and as a head coach at Illinois and SIU, he absolutely will not recruit what he needs.  I'm pretty sure he has a subscription to rivals and will recruit as many top 100 wings as he can with no ball handling skills and try to make them point guards.  When he can't land those kids he'll start pulling in obscure no name point guards from BFE that no one has heard of.

Cant tell if serious or trolling...most likely trolling, especially since you mentioned someone having a horrid voice and didn't include captain chicken nuggets in the same sentence.  Maybe you should take a break from following sports, and life...

That tells us that either oscar is a great salesman, or that Currie is a rube.  I'm too scared to want to know the truth.

Weber isn't smart enough to be salesman.  Have you ever met and engaged this man outside his element of college basketball?  He might have some form of austism...

Please dont use statistics or facts to back up your choice for Heisman, it makes far to much sense.
