I posted a few times on the old board. Not sure if I ever have here. 
Anyway, tis the season for spooky stories. I remember one I read here (or ksufans) about a frightening walk in Auburn, Alabama or something. Hoping to hear that one again.
Here's mine: I had just got married and we lived on Oak st in Waldo. I had been waking up many nights at 3:17 am, on and off for about a month. One winter night, I was half asleep. It was pitch black. I heard a man's voice say, "heeeelllp meeeeee...heelllllp meeeeee." I sat up in bed. My wife is saying "what was that?!! What was that??!!" She had heard him too.
I looked out the window. Saw nothing. I went to the front porch and looked down the block. No one was there. I returned to the bedroom, and saw the alarm clock. It was 3:17.
Never heard it again. Never figured it out.
