No sh!!t our team sucks. That's why our AD owns and fired our pathetic coach and went out and got Martin. Can't wait for the 2012-2013 season!

 :excited:

Please schedule a game with South Carolina so that Frank Martin can pound your sorry ass team into submission.

USC would need 10 guys v. 5 to beat KSU.

What 5? All of the good ones are going to transfer or commit somewhere else.  :excited:

You know what's ironic? Most of our fans probably would have been excited to have oscar Weber hired, of course he would have only excited the fan base before all of the Frank Martin rumors we heard.

5
Yet Gottlieb wasn't hired probably because he has 0 experience. Why else would KSU hire Weber? That article probably had KSU fans thinking Gottlieb was a real possibility. I feel bad that you guys have a shitty AD...

6
You guys seem really adamant about hiring a guy who has 0 coaching/assistant coaching experience. Yeah Weber sucks, but how is Gottlieb any better?

Of course football is a bigger sport than basketball, yet somehow KSU still has a 461-600 something all-time record. I can't imagine KU's is much worse. It's probably about the same.  :excited:

At that point, you have to start comparing the bball programs. Then baseball, which apparently none of you give a f*ck about.
god the all time record talking point is so rough ridin' stupid.  by that logic Army is a national power and South Carolina was a good job before Steve.

Why is the all-time record talk stupid? I've admitted on this board that historically we suck at football, but still aren't worse than KSU. We're over .500 historically, KSU is not. Looks like KU is over .500 as well. KSU and KU have both won 6 bowl games, but KU has lost 6 bowl games and KSU has lost 9. We're 5-12 in bowl games.. doesn't matter that we've been to more, we rough ridin' suck in them and more often than not lose. This isn't even about football right now. How many times has KSU been a #2 seed in the NCAAT (and some of you say we have no bball history, yet Frank alluded to it in his presser)?

Supporting a bad hire just doesn't make sense. We tried supporting Darrin Horn as long as we could tolerate it. But if a guy can't recruit  Chicago/Illinois in general, how the f*ck do you expect him to recruit in Manhattan, KS while being the little brother of KU?
South Carolina has a basketball program? lol your a fool. Get the f*ck off this board. And i Hate oscar weber.

"Your a fool."

Nice grammar, guy. I won't make any jokes about oscar Weber in this post. Just wouldn't be right.

It did... in the 70s. How many times has KSU been a #2 seed? We've been one twice... don't ask what happened in those tourneys though.

I'm in a bad state of mind right now, and probably just being dense, but wtf are you talking about?

When I tried to make a username, it said "c0ck" (even as I type that I have trouble with the filter) wasn't allowed in it. WTF GIVES? Does this board have an anti-USC troll mechanism in place? If so, pretty neat.

Currie reminds me of our ex-AD, Ron Guenther.  He got burned by a couple of coaches that left so now he wants the "safe" hire.  The guy who will never leave (no matter how much you want him too).  I understand the meltdowns but a lot of your success or failure next year will be in how much of your current team stays and how much they buy in to Weber's system... such as it is. You guys have one heck of a point guard, something Weber could never recruit at Illinois and that's key to his motionless offense.

Sorry guys, I'm trying to find the silver lining for you, I really am.

I assume you're referring to Angel, in which case I must inform you there is a 0% chance he stays.

And about a 90% chance he becomes a Gamecock.

Obvious choice is South Carolina. Program on the RISE. Now that we have KSU's coach and going to get some of KSU's players, we should be great in bball. Spurrier has football program on the rise, and don't even get me started on baseball. Even our women's hoops team is killing it with Dawn Staley. West Virginia??? Psssscht.

I've been screaming my head off for 3 years to get rid of that loser. What is your AD f'n thinking?  Who knows, maybe you'll have better success with him than we did, but I wouldn't bet a dime on it. I'll be glad to see that moving van heading south out of town, but I very much feel your pain. Best of Luck, but I just instantly became a Kansas fan (Never had hard feeling towards Self). Coach Programkiller ought to be in prison for fraud.

You're supposed to make fun of them, not sympathize with their plight.

Just waiting for the news about KSU players tranferring to USC. Come on down Angel Rodriguez! Too bad it doesn't look like we're getting Robert Upshaw, really thought we had a chance. Why play for a loser like Weber when you can play for a coach you actually have a good relationship with at USC?? Also, close to the beach.

Yes..yes... kick them while they're down. Excellent.

oscar Weber? I knew K-State sucked but good god.

The irony is that most of our fan base would have been happy with oscar Weber. This is just too rough ridin' awesome.
