I really don't see how you would have a problem with us calling it like it is. They proved the point for us. It's almost like they are proud of their racism!

No, some maybe, but not all.  I personally think what those few did is reprehensible and think they should be expelled from school.  But my problem was and still is that not all from Mississippi has this belief, like it is being portrayed.

The definition of hypocrisy - Claiming entire student body to by racist based on what a few do.  I seems a bit hypocritical to stereotype then entire USM student body because a few of them were guilty of stereotyping themselves.

hint: that's really not the definition of hypocrisy. you really should look words up before you try to use them.

Definition of Hypocrite - a person who pretends to have virtues, moral or religious beliefs, principles, etc.

You pretend to have the moral belief that stereotyping is wrong while actually stereotyping yourself.

So calling racists racist is being a hypocrite in your world?  Well then sure I guess we are all hypocrites, but then again you are a hypocrite for calling all of us hypocrites.  MAN OH MAN THE VORTEX HAS BEGUN.

I have no problem with you calling the actual people who said this racists, its the fact that you stereotype the entire student body and some the entire state as being racists based on what a few did.  I am sure there are a few bad apples in the state of Kansas as well.  They just all go to KU though right?

USM's band chants "where's your green card?" at an 18 year old kid born in America - showing how racist/stupid the University's representatives are.

I thought what was chanted was horrible and I do not go and never have gone to USM and am not from Mississippi.  I only came here to read what was said based on the thread that was posted on another board making fun of them as being back wood hillbillies and racists and made fun of the whole state.  Which is stereotyping and just as bad as being racists in my opinion.  The tread being this one.  http://goEMAW.com/forum/index.php?topic=19845.0
