space craft need to be fireproofed? really i think now i've heard it all.
let me point out a simple fact- there is no oxygen in space and all fire (terrestrial and extraterrestrial) requires oxygen *(O2) to exist. so lets waste money on fireproofing the space ship prior to LHC LHC Bill Snyder blasting off to go visit a recruit on mars.
Here's the thing about spacecraft, they actually have to be on earth sometime...and believe it or not, there is oxygen (O2) on earth. Also, if those spacecraft happen to have people aboard (they are referred to as astronauts), they would also need oxygen (O2). Therefore, I believe that the fireproofing of spacecraft is perfectly logical and necessary.
