There are tons of strip clubs. Last I checked, Jenna Jameson owns and operates one on Scottsdale blvd called Babes Cabaret. Not sure if it's still there or if she is still a part of it or not though. Check out Westgate in Glendale near the stadium for some great food/bars/entertainment. Mill Ave in Tempe is ASU's area with good bars/clubs.

Bloomin Onions are awful. Onion is best served with duck. I'll have a dish of that on Thursday with a side of Tositos chips.

Not sure if anyone has heard but both ASU and UA have mountains called "A" Mountain with the A painted their colors. Whenever a Pac12 team comes to Tucson or Tempe, they paint the A on the mountains their teams colors. I'm thinking some purple A's would look great in Tucson and Tempe.

I figure that I might as well check it out while I'm there. I'm sure there will be more info on where everyone is parking when it gets closer though.

I got my Orange section parking ticket in the mail today. I'm all set now with game/parking tickets. Look's like I'll be at the "College Football's Biggest Party" as well before the game starts. Is anyone else parking in the Orange section? If so, maybe I can work out driving up the night before the game and setting up some tailgating in the Orange lot.

Any news for tailgating? I live in Tucson and am driving up early Thursday to try and find some tailgating. I'm not really interested in going to the "Biggest Party" tailgate scheme that the Fiesta puts on. If I could get up there the day before, I would setup a tailgate myself but my wife works the day prior.

Shows up too late though, missing all the good tailgating.

Any section 123ers?   :ksu:

I'm right beside you in 124.

Yes, these tickets look like crap, so does their website....All the other Bowl websites look good and have good format.

I'll just meltdown/bitch and moan about this here:

So, like, Bishop is far and away the most dynamic player in college football.  But who do they give it to?  Ricky - a traditional power player, lifetime achievement award

So, like, Beasley is far and away the most dynamic player in college basketball.  But who do they give it to?  Tyler - a try hard white kid senior who has all the intangibles you could want and hustles and stuff.

So, like, finally we get the try hard white kid senior who's capping off a great career/lifetime achievement and he hustles and stuff and has all the intangibles and who the eff do they give this crap to?  Basically, Bishop/Beasley.

I'm done menstrating.

I'm right there with you. I felt like I just wasted 2 hours of my time watching ESPN. They basically waste Collin's time, his family, the school and the fans time by inviting them to Orlando to "be a part" of the college football awards. All they do is make a mockery of K-State and make fun of the program and players basically by doing it...

Big 12 and SEC individual honors

COACHES OF THE YEAR
•  Big 12: LHC Bill Snyder, Kansas State
•  SEC: Kevin Sumlin, Texas A&M
The Wildcats figured to be good, but not Big 12 champion and 11-1 good. Snyder won his second conference title and heads to the Fiesta Bowl. Sumlin had won at Houston, but how would he do with a new job, conference and quarterback? Like this: 10-2 overall, 6-2 in the SEC and Johnny Manziel is the Heisman favorite as a redshirt freshman.

OFFENSIVE PLAYERS OF THE YEAR
•  Big 12: Collin Klein, QB, Kansas State
•  SEC: Johnny Manziel, QB, Texas A&M
As you might imagine the choice of quarterback was the most difficult. Manziel accounted for 43 touchdowns, passing and rushing, Klein 37. Manziel’s effort in leading the Aggies’ to the upset victory at undefeated Alabama stands as one of the season’s most memorable performances, a true Heisman moment. But Klein was remarkably consistent in guiding the Wildcats. If their teams met, the guess here is Manziel would finish with the better numbers, and Klein would find a way to lead his team to the victory.

DEFENSIVE PLAYERS OF THE YEAR
•  Big 12: Arthur Brown, LB, Kansas State
•  SEC: Jarvis Jones, LB, Georgia
The quiet leader of Kansas State’s defense, Brown always seems to be in the right place at the right time. He was the first to pick off a Geno Smith pass, just as he was the first to pick off RG3 last year. Jones is a big hitter with a big body, at 6-3, 220. He’s aggressive, disruptive and has great closing speed for a Bulldogs team that won the Eastern Division.

I'm in 124, Row 3. There are still some tickets left on eBay from that section/row for decent prices. Should be a great spot for tunnel pictures and those Optimus Klein runs to the outside or the fade away to Harper.

You are probably talking about Westgate. It's located directly outside the Jobing.com Arena (Phoenix Coyotes). It is a very happening place on the weekends and especially when there are games going on.

Not a fan of buying KSU stuff until they win the bowl game, which they will. :crossfingers:

Speaking of clothing...wtf?!?!

http://shop.soonersports.com/COLLEGE_Oklahoma_Sooners_T-Shirts/Oklahoma_Sooners_2012_Big_12_Football_Champions_Locker_Room_T-Shirt_-_Crimson

You know that they are considered Big 12 Champs, right?

Explain, why KSU got the BCS bid over OU.

Higher BCS ranking

Where is the link for the Nike Fiesta Bowl shirt? I can't find that one anywhere..

Flying to Tucson is tons cheaper than flying into Phoenix. There are shuttles that run from Tucson to Phoenix as well. I live in Tucson and will be making the 1 1/2 hour drive to Phoenix for the game on Thursday.  :driving:

We shall figure out something for tailgating as well.
