Kansas State Football / Re: Arkansas lookalike thread!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!11
« on: September 06, 2013, 12:29:10 AM »
 It's been 2 years since the spanking in the bowl game and your butt still hurts enough to have a thread about Arkansas? I guess this last weekend brought back the memories...or was it the last bowl game?

Hahahahahahaha! You still have your "Super Coach" and you got spanked by a non name team. At least we had an excuse last year. Pathetic!!!

Wasn't my argument, just pointing out that ULM played Baylor better than KS. The other guy brought up ULM. they may have whipped KS too! The subject above is about the SEC and trying to find arguments as to why it is not that good. The problem is that every poll and the bowl performance shows that the SEC is the dominating conference no matter what silly excuses you guys come up with. It's just fun to come pick on a school that actually thinks they are in some way revered in Football or Academics. (Please try to knock SEC Academics, I know the differences there too. KS < AR, Several SEC schools beat out Big12 schools)

Anyway, just thought I would visit for a laugh...

That's 2 years in a row that you got your ass whipped by another conference in a bowl. Your conference is weak, so you looked good this year. Only an idiot would think Kansas State had a chance anywhere but the big 12. I guess you could go play in the WAC. Then you would be king!

So, if the SEC is just average but we keep winning National Championships, what does that say about your conference?

I had to go dig, and sure enough it took Penn State 3 years to actually play a game in your conference. What took them so long? Did they have to make sure there were enough children in your conference?

That makes it the average # of teams in your conference since 1990 = 10.86. So 708 NFL drafts / 10.86 = 65.2 players per team.

SEC average= 11.82.  820 / 11.82 = 69.4 plaers per team.

In the words of Jethro..... You need to learn your goes intos.

I haven't had a chance to verify, but if it's true, you guys have been pathetic lately...

Again Michigan boy, you don't have a clue. Arkansas and South Carolina joined in 1991, But didn't play in the SEC until 1992. For the first 2 years of the 90's you had more teams. I was being nice, but you just made your conference look worse....

Are you going to give up or just keep getting pounded with facts?

Dear Michigan dumbass,

You must have been educated in the Detroit schooll system.
Simple match will tell you SEC is still better.

For all but 1 year, SEC had only 1 team more than you.
So, let's figure this out.
SEC = 820 players. 820/12teams = 68.3 players / school over that time period.
BIG10= 708 players. 708/11 teams = 63.3 per school.

Add this to the fact that the SEC won 10 NCs and the Big10 only won 2 during this time period = you are the dumbass!!!

Too easy...

Quote from the second link:
"As noted on the conference’s official website, the SEC’s had 820 total selections in the NFL Draft since 1990, far and away the top total of any conference.  The Big Ten is a distant second with 708 selections during that time frame."

I could do this all day, but facts are facts...

From a newspaper in your own week Big12 conference:

This has to be painful...

So please go build your new outhouses at Wildcat Stadium while the big boys build real stadiums...

I think the question of who deserves to play in the championship game has been answered!!!

SEC! SEC! SEC! SEC!

Here you go trying to be funny. The BCS keeps letting you Big 12 children play in the big game and you keep embarrassing them by getting spanked by an SEC team. You need to go check the last few match ups between the SEC and little 12 in the national championship games.

"We have the second most recognizable program behind Notre Dame and I don't want to tarnish it. "

This is a joke right? You may have the second most recognized team after Notre Dame, but that is just in the state of Kansas. I wouldn't be bragging about being second in your own state to an out of state school!

The New York Times reported the top schools by fan base. You guys are #60. Arkansas is #26.

Iowa State has a higher fan base than you do! Hahahahahahahahah

The big 12 went from a true contender to a third place wannabe. Texas and Oklahoma are a disappointment this year. Oklahoma State is the only team you have left, and they couldn't keep it together with the high school team from Iowa.

Time to go read about real football on saturdaydownsouth.com!

Thanks for the laugh!
