So...is the K-State fan base the oldest in college football? I was hard pressed to find a KSU fan under 100 at the Cotton Bowl...

Rich as hell people live a long time.

Too bad they couldn't buy the empty seats on the 50 yardline for the Cotton Bowl, then. K-State's side was as devoid of people as Finney County.

I was at the basketball game where Vince was introduced as the new foot ball coach.  He gave about a 3 minute speech. Couldn't understand a word he said because of his accent, sounded like Jeffrey Dexter Boomhauer III on King of the Hill, until the last three words......."We gonna win!!".   The crowd didn't believe it but went nuts anyway.  A fun few years in K-State football. The new stadium.  Lynn Dickey, "Take It Back" Mack Herron, Art Strozier, Larry Brown, Cornelius Davis, Manuel Barerra and the rest of the gang.  You can't  imagine how dismal K-State football was before Gibby.
