At a glance there would seem to be no way K State could beat Arkansas.
A brief look at some statistics:

History certainly isn't on our side either... we've got a 475-612-41 all-time record (Arkansas is 678-456-40).
Over the last 10 seasons we're much closer at 71-53-0 (Arkansas is 78-48-0).
The fact is we're probably NOT as well known nationally as Arkansas is (yet). We don't have their history (yet). I wish it were otherwise, but if you ask the casual college football fan about Kansas State they probably couldn't tell you too much... except that maybe we were good for a short period of time and loaded our schedule with rent-a-wins.
A couple of things to note... the odds makers and prognosticators don't take heart & desire into account. Additionally, for some reason Arkansas is AWFUL in Bowl Games... they're 12-23-3 all-time (however, we're not exactly setting the world on fire at 6-9-0 all-time).
I could go on & on, but this post is already too damn long. Let's play the game & whip their asses.
And to my fellow 'Cat posters... stop talking mad crap about Arkansas fans being inbred, hillbillies, racists and whatever other idiotic stuff you can think of. You sound like utter d-bags & make our state, school & fans all look like morons
