If I remember correctly there was a clause that he could leave for one job only without incurring a penalty. That job was WVU. KState knew what they were getting and agreed to the contract. No one could have known Beilein would leave WVU when he did.

LOL at a K-State fan bagging on KU's law school when K-State is too poor of a school to have one. Also, Bill James, the creator of sabermetrics and the guy who Moneyball was loosely based on, graduated with an economics degree from KU. It's a very good program.
I hate to be the one that breaks this to you but "money ball" as a theory didn't work. But it did make a decent movie.
