He didn't give a good apology. Hell technically it wasn't an apology. However he is stating he didn't do it on purpose. He's had some serious injuries and knows how tough it is. I don't think he would hurt another player on purpose, that's all I'm saying.

Sounds like he handles injuries better than Box.

too soon
yeah, seriously dude. Box was a good kid that made a mistake. Everyone has made mistakes in their life, some of which could have killed us but luckily most of us have survived. That's a bit harsh and you know it.

I'll be rooting for you guys. Might help OU more if OSU stays undefeated but I really hate their fans. I know some that are already buying national championship tickets and hotel reservations. Crush them!

We will put up fifty points minimum for you, oh those lovable OU fans.
clearly you've never met an OSU fan. there are a lot more this year and they are all douchebags.

sorry about all the butt hurt posters in here.
Not a problem, I kind of understand. I'm inconsolable when OU loses for at least 2 days. lol

yeah he didn't apologize.

He said "Mane people takin it the wrong way.. I did not try to step on that dude yesterday.. I was just trying to get up to fast"

So he didn't do it on purpose. you're right there wasn't an apology but I think with that explanation it was implied.

Just watched the replay.  Fucktard was already up, standing, over Klein.  And he had to lift his foot kind of high to bring it down on Klein's chest, so don't give me the ol 'lost my balance" line.  Frank Alexander is a thug who needs to be blindsided on the field so hard he writhes and flops on the turf like that Lincoln player in "Fast Times At Ridgemont High."  Twitter pseudo-apologies don't do jack!

He's come back from some major injuries and has never been malicious before. calm down man.

whatitis1, i hope you made it down to Kite's for their legendary burgers.

No everything was so packed and I had to drive in friday night so I was too tired to get up early enough to beat all the crowd. I stayed in topeka and left the hotel at 10am and still only got to the stadium at 1:45 ish. it was a mess. in that regards.

I chose to avoid aggieville after the game as everyone was tired and had an hour drive back. We ate at Paisano's in Topeka. It was awesome.  On the way back into town on Sunday we ate at Barn'rds. It wasn't as good as I expected.

thanks willie and dlew12

The only "dirty" play I saw was Frank Alexander stepping on someone once he was already down. Frank apologized on Twitter and stated he didn't do anything maliciously he was trying to get up fast and accidentally stepped on him.

Nelson looked like there was a late hit on Klein out of bounds but the replayed showed he barely touched him.

Regardless of the outcome of the score I would have come back here and said the same thing. There was one guy who kept screaming to hurt OU players but besides that most were pretty good.

Lastly when I saw Frank step on the guy I thought it deserved a penalty but it wasn't malicioius.

The fans for KSU are just awesome. I have been trolling the board since my original post because I like the board. I went up to Manhattan for the game. Nothing about the game but the fans were out of this world. I was treated nicely even in all my OU garb. Everyone I met was genuinely nice to me and my party. The crowd got there early and hung in there much longer than I expected. You guys were loud and proud. I walked away very impressed and wished OU's crowd could resemble yours.

I'm going to Pryor next week, what should I do?

I can think of nothing in pryor that you "have to do" you could go to tulsa and see the big blue whale(catoosa off route 66) or you could go to the hard rock casino near the blue whale.  I know a few place to eat in tulsa too if you head that way.
Ha! I have done this

The blue whale is kind of cool. I climbed up in it. I'm a big dude, I was afraid it was going to break under my weight.

Sometime in the next year, I will be passing through Oklahoma on my way to somewhere else. Is there anything I should stop and see?

P.S. I have seen enough deformed cows at the World's Largest Prairie Dog museum to last a lifetime so you will have to choose something else.

Depends on where you'll be passing through. I'm kind of a big foodie and can tell you anywhere to eat usually.

I'll come clean, I am an OU fan. but I respect LHC LHC Bill Snyder immensely and I want to visit all the Big XII schools while there is still a Big XII

This board, I would like to say is pretty hilarious. I have enjoyed reading all the posts. I suspect I won't be treated as well after coming out of the proverbial closet but I just want to have a good time while in the area.

does your girlfriend like to Eiffel Tower?

No she does not like to Eiffel Tower

i was under the assumption you were an OU fan from the start. :dunno:

I never said I was either. Just said I was coming to visit the town for the game. I do have some good suggestions and I'll be walking around aggieville it seems before the game and I'll be at gameday. I want to take out the WSU sob.  they suck consistently. who keeps going to gameday and waving their flag?!?

What direction are you coming from?  The World's Largest Ball of Twine is just a hop skip and a jump away from Manhattan

Oakley might be too far away. I'll be coming from witchita.

Get drunk at Aggieville, eat Pizza Shuttle.  Head west and see the Six Legged Cow and the World's largest Prairie Dog.  Not in Manhattan, but whatevs

where is the world's largest prairie dog? and the six legged cow. That's touristy and I'd go see them. Also Westboro baptist church sounds like a great time! lol

So it looks like aggievill before the game. prairie dog and six legged cow? after the game and wbc sunday!

I only mentioned the age CartierFor3  because I didn't want the first responses to be "how old are you, what are your interests, any kids? which is a typical reply"

what do you like to do?  what about your bro and gf?  will you have a car? which is a typical reply.

Sounds like aggieville is the consensus. We all like to find little hole in the wall places to eat, drinking good beer is a plus. That accounts for all of us. We like history but we like the touristy stuff usually.  Yes I'll have a car.

A. I'm not that old!
B. she's out of college now, thank you very much.

I'm looking for more touristy stuff and restaurants. The brother would love to have beer snuck to him so the bowling alley might be an idea.

And she's not going anywhere near you guys! I'm keeping her to myself. lol
