Leavitt as DC, absolutely.
Leavitt as HCIW, I go back and forth on it.
On one hand, it would allow a seamless transition from the current regime, meaning that our chances of continuing positive momentum are higher. It decreases risk that we'll strike out on a hire, and increases the chance we'll still have a solid program for a number of years.
On the other hand, I'd like to see what Schulz and Currie could do with a football coaching search that started from square one.
Personally, at this point, I'm just hoping for Ekeler to fill the void. Make him Co-DC with Hayes.
Also, if anyone thinks he wouldn't come to KSU as a Co-DC, remember that he's currently at Indiana, and that's about as shitty a BCS job as one can ever get.
Leavitt isn't coming back to Kansas, period. I wish he would, but word is that he's comfy in Florida, and comfy working for Harbaugh.
Who wouldn't love San Francisco, Florida? We have no chance.
I hate cosh and all but WTF would/could we get to come and work for OB scares the bejeezus out of me.
Why dont all you KSU lovers baske in the glory of you Farmageddon victory. How do you all talk crap about arkansas when we have a better record have better many better teams, from the SEC, ranked higher by almost everyone in the country. and most importantly why do you live in that shithole Manhattan? Arkansas is gonna murder your sack of crap team, your biggest win is who?????????????????
thanks for stopping by ksusucks i would say our biggest win was against future heisman winner led baylor, who was yours? if you dont mind me asking
I do not know if you are all being serious, but i sure hope so. You do not even have a rep, and playing Arkansas is probably the best thing that has happened to your team all season. Make all the jokes you want, but we are going to beat you by at least 30. Its going to be embarrasing and i will probably leave by the end of the first half. I am all for having pride in your team, but you people are rough ridin' stupid if you think what you are saying is real. You're number 8 in the polls and got left out of the BCS. For a VTech team that just got stompted by clemson. A team which lost to South Carolina which we beat by 20. Get ready to get that ass beat... on and off the field.
Texas is irrelevant, just like your Jayhawks.
I didn't realize any football team in Kansas had a national brand image. Chicat your a complet moron, AR left the SWC, causing it to fold. The rest of the teams had to scramble to find a home and most of them ended up in the Big 8, 10, 12, 10 or however many are left. Two more teams are leaving this year for the superior conference. Another fine point to mention to you pussycats is that the only two losses this year for AR were LSU and Alabama, number 1 and number 2. One more thing is that the Cotton Bowl loves to have AR, because the fan base will pump lots o cash into DFW that weekend. How many running backs does k state have playing in the NFL at the moment. Oh yeah, another of your moron fans posted a picture of UCA's field, which by the way would beat k state this year also. Just like the rest of kansas you people on this forum do nothing but blow. I'm sorry the k state fans have to let their no class asses shine, because of insecurity and jealousy. See you guys in Arlington at Jerry World where Hogs are undefeated. WPS!!!!!!!!!
We have 5 RBs in the NFL, you have 3.

Our NFL players are so much better than yours, its funny you would even bring it up...It is actually comical how bad you guys are at putting players into the NFL...![]()

Ark Best NFL Players:
Darren Mcfadden - injury prone and being outperformed by a guy from Loserville
Felix Jones - injury prone & not starting
Ryan Mallet - that tall guy on the sidelines
...and a bunch of lineman no one has heard of
K-State:
Josh Freeman - best young QB in the league
Jordy Nelson - did you watch the super bowl?
Darren Sproles - "best off-season acquisition in years"
Terrance Newman - multiple pro bowls
Brandon Banks - 2nd in NFL return yardage
... and many others
Freeman's really been lighting the league up this year. Does he have more touchdowns than interceptions yet?
And yet he's still a mile better than your best player.
Great statistical analysis. I didn't realize we measured players in miles. Must be a new concept in the plains.

its funny how all you K-State fans make fun of the Arkansas football team and fans being mainly "redneck" and how you really think that we "hurt your football image".
1st point, the only teams we lost to this year are ranked #1 and #2 and are both from the SEC which is obviously the best college football division, period.
your pathetic football team barely beat Western Kentucky, you guys only won by a field goal, thats pretty pathetic in my mind.
2nd point, Tyler Wilson is and will always be a better quarterback than Collin Klein. Wilson has 3422 yards and 22 tds compared to Klein's mere 1745 yards and only 12 tds. and might i add that Wilson has more yards in one season than Klein has in his whole career.
Arkansas has 5 players that have rushed for over 100 yards this season compared to 4 for K-State. we had 8 players with over 100 receiving yards compared to 6 for K-State
before you guys come on this site and talk crap about how its embarrassing to play the "redneck" football team, make sure you check your statistics. Its gonna hurt when you guys take it up the ass from the amount of points we are about to rape your defensive with.
I'm going to guess Bill Clinton. Just spit balling here.
honorary mention eff you to James Franklin.
he went all in with the SEC. Georgia at 10.
VT is getting in over us. We just got shafted again.
Interesting....

We moved to #5 in this poll. OSU did not move up.
TCU didn't budge. UMich jumps 5 spots
Personally, I'd take a BCS bowl over a 3-way "share" of the Big XII. Call me crazy, but I think it gives the program a lot more clout than a "we came in 3rd in the 1st place race" so-called "championship, that no one would respect anyway. Thus, if OU wins, OSU gets a BCS bid over us. Granted a number of scenarios can happen regardless of what happens in that game, but for BCS hopes, you definitely want OkSt.
10 years from now you show off the Big 12 Championship trophy to recruit. Nobody will remember how it was won and nobody will care what bowl we played in (unless it was the MNC game).
Making sentences. You are not good at it.

1 LSU
2 Oklahoma State A = 98.66
3 Alabama A = 97.96
4 Oklahoma A = 96.07
5 Oregon A = 95.28
6 Stanford A = 90.62
7 Boise State A = 88.82
8 Arkansas A = 88.35
9 Texas A&M A = 87.07 (...REALLY?)
10 Kansas State A = 86.89
11 Missouri A = 86.62 (come on...)
His strength of schedule and his predictor ratings (MU and aTm are above us in those) factor heavily these rankings. We're above both of them in the ranking that matters, the Elo Chess, however. We're number 7 in that ranking, and that's what the BCS uses. The rankings you listed above basically say that A&M are damn good teams that played a tough schedule and crap the bed when in counted.
What position is he going to play? I was thinking nothing before the season started, but then started thinking TE after the Baylor game. After these last two games, though, I'm starting to wonder if he works on his throwing motion during the offseason if he can't make himself a legitimate QB prospect after next year. I mean he's already better than Billy Volek.
form a tunnout el and give Mizzou and TAMU the finger on their way out of the 1(10)2
My only issue with blitzing is that we don't put any pressure the QB when we do it.
Which is likely one of the main reasons we don't.
