I have an A+ source that says that there will be two north video boards, and both will be "HUGE". Don't know exactly what my source considers huge though.

Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

My little tidbit sources say as big as the current South Endzone board.   If they're looking to spend $12 million on AV/Sound for just 3 venues, than you have to expect a pretty elite set up.   As a follower of these kind of projects $12 mil is a HUGE price tag for a collegiate project.

I've been envisioning a set up like Sun Devil stadium is/was/will be after reading grumblings about 2 boards in the NEZ and one larger one in the SEZ.... just for the AV/Sound aspects not the stadium as a whole.

so announcement at Chase Field (fka BOB)?????????????????????????????????????

Sun Devil Stadium

Probably Wells Fargo Arena, that's where the pep rally was in 2003/2004 when we last played in Sun Devil Stadium

ah good call.

Yes good call. I was just a youngster in 2003/2004 and my only memory of that game were chants of "Raperson" from tOSU fans.

Yeah, camera angle was brought up a while ago and how it seems like it'll be like Gallagher-Iba and whatnot, then someone else said something along the lines of, "You really think they hadn't factored that in? Don't be a dumbass." But I don't think they had factored that in. I don't think we were being dumbasses.

Ever watched a Wichita State basketball game on TV that's at Koch Arena (probably not since they're hardly ever on TV)?  Talk about fucktards not thinking about the camera angle during renovations.  It's f'ing horrible

He was suspended for the first quarter so James Mcgill put on an Ell Roberson jersey and took his place.

A handle of Bacardi Superior before the '04 Fiesta made the chants of "Raperson" more tolerable I suppose

It starts out with Doerr kicking an end over ender and pinning the panda bears at the 2.  Then on the next play Tate comes in and sacks the QB for 2 pts.

That's not a touchdown Donald.  :nono:

Well crap

Last I heard they weren't going to move the X's...sure hope they do though, that will look dumb.

A big tent has been ordered for Cat's closet for this fall.

This different color turf was done specifically for Harley Day, they didn't think the Harley's could ride through the gameday turf, so the endzones are just plain outdoor carpet.

thanks for the info. did they really do mismatched turf on purpose? don't remember hearing that before.

Can confirm. Still don't understand why they felt a motorcycle could drive on the regular turf, but I suspect it was cheaper and Currie didn't want to spend the money since there was a chance it could get torn up.

I just wish they would have put the mismatched turf all of the way around the field, rather than just behind the endzones.

They will eventually.  Included in the "cheaper" part of Phase 3. FWIW  :runaway:

I'm disappointed with this board.  Thousands of people went in and out of Bramlage this weekend for the various graduation ceremonies, but NO ONE took any pictures of the stadium?  The ground breaking was three weeks ago, and they only have 16 months to build the entire structure.  Surely they've started by now!  And if they have, how come NO ONE took any pictures?!?!

Trust me when I say absolutely nothing has happened since the ground breaking ceremony.

I forgot because I got super excited when I saw LHC LHC Bill Snyder at the 8:30 a.m. graduation!!!!

 :excited: :excited: :excited: :excited:

I'm assuming it had to do with Arthur Brown and Braden Wilson graduating.

 :ksu:
Although he didn't walk, the program also mentioned that a "Lawrence 'Taco' Wallace" from Los Angeles, California graduated.

Probably deserves its own thread, actually.

SoftTacoWallace?   :horrorsurprise:
