That's a really bad comparison, comically so. The Premier League is the most popular sports league in the history of the world. College football is already highly regionalized, making it more so isn't to anyone's benefit. Look at their biggest sponsors of their network only programming now, it's Regions Bank, Zaxbys, Chick fil A, and Walk-ons. As popular as the SEC is, it's triple dumb to think that can be a national sport excluding the Atlantic coast, Midwest, Plains, and Western states.

There's going to be a new tier above FBS that includes the new SEC + schools that rhyme with Michigan, Ohio State, Penn State, Wisconsin, USC, UCLA, Oregon, Washington, Arizona, Clemson, UNC, Florida State, and Notre Dame.

2
A "league" that breaks off from the NCAA and the other ~100 schools would be national. Heck let's call it a Premier League minus the relegation. Too many people are only looking at what's right in front of them instead of what's actually going on.

3
The SEC is a few schools away from being able to crown a national champion with its own 12 team playoff. If you're the president of a top big 10 or ACC school, would you rather get on the boat with Kevin Warren or Greg Sankey?

Clover and Wade are the worst posters in this thread and it isn't even close. I could almost do a "Gems of the Coaching Search" Thread and they would be the only two dumbasses in it.

Watching on K-State HD right now and it's lagging very badly.  Is this happening for anyone else?

Maybe you should just watch on Jmarks' free stream.

You are a cheap pos
I don't have to do this you know. Just trying to help out, chit happens sometimes. ....geeze

And yes we've tested the sytem repeatedly.... this is just a new wrinkle that we'll sort out.

Chings was referring to doom being cheap.  The rest of it is sarcasm.

Even if it's only the quadcast that works...we're in good shape.  The video board feed is nice to have and so are the replays.

KU has more money than us yet all they are building is an apartment complex and a building for a piece of paper. That's it. While KSU is doing football stadium, old football stadium, new engineering addition, completely new biz admin building, Seaton renovation, just got done with a complete overall of the rec and multiple other things. From the sight test alone, who has more money? I mean

This is just flat out wrong.  KU is building a $63 million business building, spending $43+ million on new student dorms, expanding the engineering school, expanding the medical school, finishing new softball, soccer, and track facilities at rock chalk park, etc, etc.   It's pretty obvious you have no idea what you're talking about.

If you have the money why neglect to do anything to the biggest revenue sport in college athletics? I mean, let's make some blueprints so our grand kids can maybe built it.

2014 KU FOOTBALL Momentum Awaits

Yeah guys..COMPLETELY WRONG! The track includes a new football field in the center.  Once the new local bond issue gets voted in, KU will really be able to break ground on things...new basketball gymnasium, water fountains for the classrooms, etc. Whoa boy look out!  :excited:

Trying waaaay too hard here folks.

National Titles aren't won by being complacent.  You've got to earn it.

That being said, it will be fun to play WSU in Round 2.

Agreed.  It sucks that Kentucky has really fallen off the map.  Louisville has certainly passed them in prestige.

$2 beers i assume?

They'll be pricey.  But, I'd stay in there and drink them and watch a game I didn't care to much about.

God, I really could have used alcohol for those Thursday Nebraska-Colorado-Texas Tech-Baylor abominations.  Would have just viewed the $10 scalped ticket as a cover charge.

I don't know. I heard Chelsea fans are pretty carefree and don't give a eff who other fans are because we're famous and really good looking.  :dunno:

Do any of the Chelsea fans (who DVR'd the game) know what song the crowd is singing at 28:52?  TIA

I like how the Palace fans cheer every time they get the ball. They are also very good at singing.  If you're going to be relegated, you might as well have a good time while doing it.
