Jerry Meyer thinks Harris is coming to K-State. That would be rough ridin' great.

Does anyone know when he plans on making his decision?

I wish there was more info out there on Eric Cobb so I could get more excited about him.

He is teammates with this guy...   :Wha:

I recommend going back and only looking at the other teams reactions.  Specifically at the 0:23, 1:01 and the 1:06 mark.  That's pretty much the reactions I would have all game if I had to play against a giant like that.

Quote from: Marvin Clark
My list consists of Indiana, Iowa State, Kansas State and Seton Hall. I’m going to take one more visit and then think deeply on my decision while sitting down and talking about the pros and cons of every school with my coaches. I’m thankful and blessed to be in this position.

Where does his mom/fzmily live?
KC, I believe. Michigan State not offering basically ended his recruitment.

2014 Sunrise Christian (KS) F Marvin Clark will take an official visit to Michigan St instead of Indiana this weekend, per @AdamZagoria.

Not so fast my friend.

15 players out of what(30 teams x 14 players/team approx = )420 NBA players weren't rated as top 150 recruits.

 :'bye cruel world:

Others that didn't make the top 150.

Doesn't seem to be an exact science?  :dunno:

Dom was amazing you eff. Also Nick could of been good here.

Yeah what a rough ridin' Fake Sugar Dick (WARNING, NOT THE REAL SUGAR DICK!). Dom was as JYC as they came. Stud boss. Just because he transferred doesn't mean he was a bust. :dubious:

Wow, relax peeps.  You guys are angry elves.  I was not suggesting that Dom was awful, I was suggesting that he was a 150 guy that didn't make it to the NBA.  In addition, there were some quality non-150 guys that did great things for our program.  I never suggested that our program should be okay with getting kids outside of the 150.  I only used our team as an example since this was a KSU board.  The overall point was that rivals 150 really is not a good measuring stick for NBA success.  The list was merely a small sample size to illustrate its not an exact science.

If you need a hug, Tyler Hughes is available.

None of the players not in the 150 that you mentioned made the NBA. :dubious:

Not sure how they help your NBA argument.

I don't ever recall suggesting the non-150 guys were NBA guys.  I believe I said "there were some quality non-150 guys that did great things for our program" to help illustrate that the 150 was not an exact science.  So in response to you statement, it didn't.

Tyler's schedule is still wide open if you need him.

Two students play Ro-Sham-Bo (best 2 out of 3, of course).  Loser gets speared by Willie at mid court.

This is probably one of the greatest posts of all time IMHO.  :th_twocents:

I am not worried about the top 150 measuring NBA success.  The NBA can worry about that.  I am more worried about recruiting outside the 150 and what it means for college success.

Agreed.

Obviously I'd prefer to consistently get 150 guys rather than rolling the dice and hoping a few non-150 guys pan out.  More often than not, those 150 guys have the tools to be successful at the college level and that is the type of recruits we should be aiming for.  Obviously.

But that being said, I don't automatically think that all non-150 guys suck, nor do I think all 150 are stud bosses.  Just to be clear, for the record, I'd rather think 150 guys are not stud bosses more often than thinking non-150 guys don't necessarily suck.

What ever happened to the PF Cimino that we were hard after early? Haven't heard any updates, but he's top 150 and his only other offers are Boston College and Virginia, with Notre Dame, Stanford and Gonzaga showing interest.
I think the staff has moved away from wanting a stretch four and really wanting to recruit small ball fours.

I believe BC is the front runner.
