Kansas State Basketball is hard / Re: Get out now Josh!!

He is the worst thing to happen to sports radio since sliced bread. Huh?

I find in entertaining as heck sometimes.  He was interviewing Taylor and as Taylor droned on making an excuse for getting 84-68'd by the EMAWs, he grew impatient and had to blurt out a question about Selby.  He wanted Taylor to trash Selby so bad, but Taylor was like "good luck to him"

Also, Self said that Selby has all of his academics in order to pass all of his classes even if he doesn't come back to Lawrence.  So, he left April 5th and was done with classes including finals.  Pretty impressive student that kid.  Will thrive in the NBA.

Selby is an academic titan, what was his major?  Pre-Med or Pre-Law??

Both
I thought he was minoring in both of those and majoring in the College of Sheer Awesomeness

What ever major allows you to quit school on April 4th of spring semester, move to a different state, (after being involved in a week long basketball tourney) yet still be completely done with all academic requirements of a full time student for that spring semester.  That's what he was in.

Yeah, it's a rough ridin' joke.

I'll be honest--I attend KU and I am proud of its academic reputation (that is not to say I am under the impression KSU and KU are significantly different or anything). However, unlike most of my peers, I have no misconceptions about the character of some of the players on our basketball team. I cheer for them to win and all only because they represent my university, but as individuals, I can't help but dislike those with  history of transgressions against the law and their immunity to any consequences purely because they play a game exceptionally well. (I cringe each time I hear the crowd cheer for Mario Little. I mean, seriously?). The tunnel incident was embarrassing, but I don't believe it was entirely instigated by the Jayhawks seeing as both basketball squads had emotions and adrenaline running high at the time. At the same time, I'm not deluded enough to believe "my boys" were "fine young men" who were "defending the honor of our University" at the time.

I can't decide if you're a level-headed troll or another in a long line of effing terrible KU socks.  :dunno:

Either way, you're not gonna enjoy your short stint here on goEMAW.com. Thanks for stopping bye. :adios:

Not a sock.  :peek:
