Is that Zack Wegner before his finger was turned into mush by our d, or after?

I'll never forget that moment.  An attorney I know scored some tickets in the rich people ku alumni section, 50 yardline.  It was then I learned that leather jackets and wool pants were the raingear of choice among them.  ku was sitting at about -500 yards rushing on the day and Zac was grabbed by the ankle trying to get away.   Just as Litton and Kelly were closing in everyone in my section could see it about to happen and it got dead quiet.  I took advantage of the silence and screamed out "CAN YOU FEEL THAT!" just as the infamous Zac Wagner Crunch occurred.  Everyone in about a 30 row radius turned and gave me the death stare and the  .  I gave them the   back.  It was awesome...

i'm 100% confident that frank would only start/play 1-2 players some nights if he thought he could do it w/o getting fired.

Imagine how bad those 1-2 guys would get yelled at for allowing open shots on the continuous 5 on 2 break.

I wonder if Frank listened to Haith's introduction press conference.  He pretty much gave a 20 minute explanation of why the U sucks at basketball and why the NIT was the best they were ever going to do given the support from the alumni, school, and local fan base.  This was also his basis for why he was mediocre in Miami but will be the crap in Missouri. 

Frank obviously wants to go home bad.

I'll always mow my own lawn.  ALWAYS.  I may eventually have a live in maid and personal chef, but I'm still going to mow my own lawn.  Matter of fact, I may pull a Forest Gump and sell my company for millions and just mow lawns all day for free.  There's some extremely cathartic about it to me.  Some people pray.  Some people meditate.  I mow. 

Agreed. I have about 2 acres, most of which is mowed with a 42" Craftsman Lawn Tractor. Takes about 2 hours. Very enjoyable while listening to some Pandora radio on my Droid Incredible.

I mow with a 52 inch Hustler Super Z.  It is made is Hesston, Kansas, which qualifies it as an EMAW mower.  The admins should hit them up to sponsor this site.

Slightly off topic, but do we have a new coach yet?

Will he be suspended by the NCAA from coaching for some period of time?  When is his COI trial where this will be determined?

If Frank doesn't "buy in", would Pearl even an option for 2011-12?   Although, ideally we hire him after he has had a full year off from coaching and is merely a really rich guy who is exempt from NCAA recruiting rules that likes to attend AAU Basketball games all over the country while he quietly assembles GRCOAT II...

NCAA considered VCU and USC as 11 seeds.

No such thing as a seed number higher than 16.

They had to win a game to get to be an 11 seed.  That makes them lower than a 16 in my book.  They don't call the old "first" round the new "second" round now for nothing.

Fact:  KSU men are god fearing, productive citizens, that people across the world admire.  Men want to be them and women want to be with them.
Fact:  ku wimps are a bunch of johnson county mamma's boys who are scared to move more that 30 minutes away from the oak park mall.  Most will break down when confronted by a challenging situation like having a flat tire.

The rest you can just make up to fill your allotted time slot.  Be both convincing and entertaining and this topic should produce an automatic A.

Will never forget the first time I saw him in real life.  The wife and I went to watch Beasley vs. tam in KC and ku was playing vs. Sadler in the early game of the session.  Was completely amazed at the size of his head.  It is much larger in person.   I think this is  because of, in part, the fact he is a mouth breather.
