Why are you hiding while here, Kirk?

Have you been to any of the lame Bison boards?  They're lucky if there's 10 posts/day on any of them.   This place is a bonanza in comparison.

I've never seen a "game thread" for a replay of a game  :dunno:

I've never seen a fan from an opposing team post within a thread re: a replay of a game.

CK looks pretty rough ridin' amazing in this pic.

It'd be easier to concentrate on CK were it not for rat face and the dude with the seaweed

Start a thread about how awesome your december was with Klein in the Heisman running, then losing it followed with ESPN hyping up the Fiesta bowl, and then losing it.

As disappointing a finish to a season as that was.....I'd take it every day over any # of FCS "titles" that nobody outside of your drunk state  :drink: would ever care about.

tim, you know the coaches voted for the All-Big 12 team last year, right? And that they voted Hubert ahead of Sims?

Leave it to a Jayhawk to be arguing about who did / did not make a freakin' pre-season team.  It's like saying.....look we know we're going to suck again.....can you at least give us a pre-season honor?

NDSU would rule the MAC  (in 2007 NDSU beat the MAC Champion 44-10)  that's why they wont invite us.

NDSU would be top 3 in MWC every year  (beat Colorado state, lost by 1 to Wyoming with our 3-8 team) that's why they wont invite us.
NDSU would be middle of the road team in Big 10/Big 12

Yeah, it has nothing to do with the fact you play your games in the equivalent of a high school gymnasium.

You are NOT our super bowl . Sorry.  2 national titles are.

Says the fan of the opposition 48 days in advance of the game posting on a Saturday night.  No life or "super bowl" for NDSU......pick one.

One has to ask if the ku vs K-State situation is even healthy for Ben anymore.   He's gotten so mad about it, he's canceled his accounts multiple times, or claimed that he'd never be back . . . then he comes back, then he gets all mad again.  Rinse and Repeat.

I just don't think it's a healthy situation for the little guy.

Mad?  I'm ecstatic about the fact that the entire nation can now see just how much Little Brother Syndrome resides in Manhattan.  In the end, the loss was totally worth it???.  Hell, I might even have to fly back to Kansas and join in on the February national championship Super Bowl parade.

whatever helps you cope

Cats needed to handle CU on the boards, especially offensively. OR% was 34.1% to 25% - advantage Cats.

Cats needed to get to the FT line, force CU to foul. FT rate was 59.6% to 51.2% - advantage Cats.

Cats needed handle the ball well on the road. TO% was 14.6% to 26% - advantage Cats.

Cats needed for force CU's good shooters into tough shots. CU's eFG% was 46.5% - would seem to be advantage Cats.

But K-State has an eFG% of 35.5%, shooting 6-20 from 3 (30%), and a terrible 10-32 on 2PTers.

K-State's best 2 FT shooters go 1-4 from the FT line (before Jake's last 2) down the stretch.

K-State's SR leader turns the ball over for a CU runout down 1.

K-State forces two loose balls up 1, and CU recovers under the basket and is fouled.

Just a terrible, terrible loss.

CU shot 82% from the foul line

He wasn't talking about free throw percentage you simple son of a bitch

I was....idiot.....and I'm not done with your mom yet.

Yeah you were and that proves you are a effing idiot.  I'm sure if CU was 11-11 from the line you would have posted that they were 100% and be completely blissfully ignorant to how effing dumb you look.

the point was....they shot 80+%...we shot <60%....great, both team MADE the same #, but what the point when we miss damn near 1/2 out attempts....

I may be way off base here but to me it seems like everything just comes too hard for us offensively.  Maybe I'm not paying attention, but a lot of the time it doesn't seem that we are just missing shots, it is that rarely do we really get a great look.

One other thing I noticed is that Southwell really needs to develop an outside shot.

our offense is a cluster f&ck and always has been.  There's little to no spacing allowing for dribble penetration.  We dribble the ball around, hope that someone gets open, throw up a shot....and then when they miss (as they did 70% of the time tonight), duck their head and make their way to the bench for the obligatory public verbal beat down by Frank.  Personally, I'm surprised we don't have more shot clock violations as a result of not wanting to take the shot.
