I think it's more of a joco thing

If true, that's possibly the most interesting fact I've ever heard about Johnson County Kansas

I'm a little concerned that you felt the need to ask

Re: NYC mayor race

Take my advice, NEVER vote a Muslim into office. They are more destructive than US CEOs.

They will be nice and inclusive in the beginning. Then they will start their creeping Islamization. Ramadan will become a norm at the highest level. At first he will have other religious events, then slowly drop those. Then prayers 5 times a day will be "allowed" otherwise you are a racist. Special prayer spaces (all religion of course, but in reality used only by Muslims) will be created in government buildings. Like in Canadian airports. Then loudspeakers from buildings to call people to prayer. Hate the sound?? You racist!!!

Then the city council will be forced to make statements against Israel even when Gaza has nothing to do with NYC (I saw this happen in my own little town when the Muslims made pests of themselves at village council demanding a resolution against Israel)

Then women should be "modest" and dress up like penguins, else they are inviting men to r@ped them. Cleavage visible? Tight top? Go for it, Muhammad.

Very twisted.

Slippery slope. Never go there.

LMAO but for real my kids didn't have school for some Muslim holidays already. Jewish ones, too!

Those player introductions for every AB on some 12u travel team are beyond cringe
For those that don't attend 12u travel team games, can you elaborate?

They will have a giant speaker and some prerecorded AI voice that will say "Now batting for the Rawlings Tigers, number 13.... BRADEN RILEY!" and then play some stupid walk up song. I was working last weekend and it is in between high school season and summer ball and got put on a 12u field and it's all day. It's so stupid. By the time the kids get to 14u, 15u, 16u etc they do away with all that Mickey Mouse crap thank the lord.

I had seen the walk-up songs but didn't know about the actual voices announcing the players! As a parent who no longer has children participating in competitive kids sports, it seems silly and fun. (I might feel differently if I were an umpire lol)

I don’t think it’s a radical position at all. If Amazon started including a tip line for deliveries and people used it often enough, I can guarantee they’d use it as an excuse to try and pay less than minimum wage too.

Prices should reflect the value of goods and services delivered. Consumers shouldn’t feel morally responsible for making sure service workers are making ends meet.

You are right that everyone should make a living wage without tips, but tipping 15% instead of 25% isn't going to create the massive societal change you're looking for

Also it's rough ridin' hilarious they play Wolves on Tuesday

She has worn it before like a year or two ago! And it was so random Eze got asked about it and revealed they were cousins.

Palace has some wonderful personalities, Mateta is a silly goose, Joel Ward is a classic English guy whose been there forever and is retiring, LaCroix loves hamming up the fans, Munoz just works his ass off unlike anyone. Richards is cool as a cucumber, Hughes is the best at shithousery, Wharton is a beautiful robot, etc.

There genuinely isn't a player I dislike or wouldn't cheer for on another team (except Nketiah sometimes)

Kansas State Basketball is hard / Re: Assistant Coach Rumor Thread

We hired Chase Driscoll to be the video and analytics guy, he's the son of the North Florida head coach, Matt Driscoll. You may have see him before.
https://youtu.be/YZAQBG4Qbt8?si=5tuyJ6BOkOp-hZOU
Anyway, there are rumors that Matt has an expiring contract and he's going to be the last assistant hire and he's going to be in the first chair. Matt is really good friends with Jerome and they were on the Baylor staff together.

is Bill Peterson not an assistant?

also I seriously always thought that was tom izzo (shame yourself thread)

Of course they moved to Germany lol

Like I said, they didn’t seem like the type to make up stories.

Elon doing what he did with his ai is not good obv, which is really the point of the convo imo.
To be clear, I'm implying they're Nazis

I hate how the Knicks and Nets aren't on YTTV or I would be a superfan. The NBA is so great.
