I don't know why, but this reminds me of Jim Tressel's falling out at Ohio State. The transgressions don't even compare, but he still hasn't seen the light of day since getting the ax at tOSU. Have to believe Art will be resigned to the same fate.

He probably wouldn't have found the meeting place...  but I bet he would have gotten really close

David Garrett RIP

Jordan Voelker. - His game against Baylor/RGIII

Emmanuel Lamur in '11. He was largely overshadowed because that was Arthur's first year with us, but Lamur was a stud in the one and only season the coaches played him at LB

1. Kansas State (pre-spring ranking: 1): Elijah Lee, Charmeachealle Moore and Will Davis return after combining for 189 tackles a year ago. Lee is one of the Big 12’s best defenders after a sophomore season that included 80 tackles (66 solo), 7.5 tackles for loss, five sacks, three interceptions, two fumble recoveries and one forced fumble. The Wildcats linebackers give K-State a terrific base to build upon.

 :lynchmob:

Third best DL and top LB corps in the conference... Will any of us still be thinking that after the first half against Stanford?

Briles should be fired. That's highly unlikely to happen though.

How the eff has this not happened yet, how have they not reviewed the death penalty yet?

Uh, because his AD and UP are just as complicit.

Not to mention the NCAA doesn't have the stones to do it again. SMU getting leveled with the DP was what ultimately dissolved the SWC. So unless this is part of some massive ploy to appease ESPN by breaking up the Big 12 for good and getting to four 16-team super conferences, it's not going to happen. But I think I just stumbled upon a new conspiracy theory  :horrorsurprise:

It's like so ginormous that you know that it's not even impressive because you know just how many seats are useless in terms of seeing the game.
kind of like the Rose Bowl???

:dubious:

That scenery tho

Based on what's been covered post spring game in Waco it sounds like they'll have a pretty softish front in a 3-4 and anyone that can run the ball should push them around. Their secondary looks fast and quality, but how likely might this season's KSU Cats pull off the upset of the Bears? It's getting rough ridin' old losing to these Baptists who were lucky to be pulled into our elite conference anyways. Can we ball control them to death or will they just score all day, e'ry day no matter how much we control the clock with the running game? Or, will we just suck and I'm getting my hopes up?

Signed,

2016 KSU Cats LFBIQ guy

That more than anything else. I mean, we really haven't been close the last three times we've gone to Waco. Nothing is going to change at Baylor until Briles is gone. They are still going to hitting 50+ more days than not. Still going to be putting 10-win seasons more years than not. But man when they're forced to vacate those wins...  :Woohoo:

So where are we on Colorado State's new stadium?

https://stadium.colostate.edu/
Initial impressions:

1.  It looks much bigger than 41,000 seats on that little rendering.  Before I looked at the capacity, I thought it was 60+ for sure and was lol'ing at the thought of them filling that on a consistent basis.

2.  That section just to the Endzone Fun Zone side of their WSC is ridiculous.

It looks a lot like McLane Stadium to me. Hopefully they don't use vinyl bricks.

Pretty much identical to Minnesota's (relatively) new place

We have this photo evidence of Kevin Lewis's existence thanks to the fact that he managed to get in a shot featuring the one and only "Big Country".
