Also note that they blew past the all time record during one of the worst economic periods in our nations history.   Meanwhile Timmy Wesier and company couldn't even touch those numbers during some of the most lucrative economic times in our history.

But you see, "grassroots" giving simply isn't important.   Just go ask the Powertards who argued for years that growing the Ahearn Fund simply wasn't important, just like leaving empty seats in the football stadium was more important than lowering the prices and selling them.

There's what's in the treaties and then there's reality.

Some day you young'uns will understand that the U.S. gives up nothing in these things until we've already moved on to the next paradigm shift in weapon technology.

In addition, the U.S. (and Russia) will work every loophole . . . be it ship based ABM systems, Prompt Global Strike, ground/space/ship based laser systems . . . Raytheon is already shooting aircraft out of the sky using lasers mounted to a standard Navy Phallanx anti missile system, they are already successfully shooting ICBM's out of the sky using lasers . . . the treaties are nothing but window dressing for the useful idiot "peace" movement.   At the end of the day War Inc.  just keeps marching on.

Having to keep track of such things is just so darn tiresome.

It figures that DocStalkSmith would be one of the first to reply.  The Stalk is the ubiquitous avenger of all things ku.   Knowing the little freak, he's started a dossier on the Illini dude.

The bigger rabbit hole in Lawrence is the FBI/DOJ/IRS investigation . . . personally I just don't see how they avoid NCAA investigation given the involvement of the Pump Brothers and Roger Morningstar.   In addition certainly the NCAA knows that Doug Compton employs the Morris twins mom amongst many things . . . there's not smoke coming out of that basketball program, there's a spire of flames that can be seen for miles.   I'd also like to see the NCAA take a long hard look at the end of career barnstorming money bomb, a tidy little enticement to any kid going to ku, knowing they'll able to stuff a nice wad of cash into their pocket when their career at ku is over with.

That being said, it won't likely happen because the NCAA is lazy and reactive, and always remember that the NCAA generates almost all of its revenue from the NCAA basketball tournament.  So they are extremely reticent when it comes to well known basketball programs.

Juat a bump for the  that the WRSOAT is giving us on the recruiting trail.

I think all the  :ksu: about Bryce Brown only puts the cherry on top of the unadultrated SUCK that has been the efforts of WRSOAT.

Buyers of the first 150 copies get an autographed slightly box wine stained american flag shirt, a dealing with Herpes brochure, and a puppy to kiss.

What does it tell you when the long term "members" over there are reduced to "White Pages" stalking to determine if a kid has or hasn't shown up??

I can't really blame them for bad coverage on football recruiting because the WRSOAT offers nothing of substance anyway, but their b-ball recruiting coverage is awful.

Wabash Station is a one stop cornocopia of ALL information.  That's what makes it great, sir.

And what the good folks at the PI World Headquarters might lack in actual recruiting and football/basketball coverage, FITZ more than makes up for it by providing the #1 pseudo-Craig’s List/Angie's List/Facebook social networking forum for old people to discuss colonoscopies, Double A prospects, vinyl siding providers in El Dorado, pole barns and mountain cat encounters at the Mulvane Animal Clinic on the interwebs.

Just waiting on the great manure spreader debate . . . I'll stand by the Hydra-Ram 1190 til death myself.

Who has a "fall" and breaks 7??   That's not a "fall" that's literally hurling or getting hurled into a $5,000 solid wood table with an extremely sharp edge . . . or a getting kicked repeatedly by a pimp wearing a steel toed boot.

Around here we have elite Scotchmen.   The older ones suck, but their new stores  . . . Pizza, dogs, loaded nachos, cheap fountain drinks, fresh cheap donuts, clean, wi-fi, nice sitting areas . . . elite.
