but let's review from less than a month ago....oscar got embarrassed over there..Not one Tennessee opponent has scored fewer than the 58 points Kstate (and Georgia Tech) collected in their loss to an average Volunteer team.

Just doing my part to illustrate how bad it is....so we don't get too numb.

The Douglas County District Attorney’s Office has charged Kansas basketball player Josh Jackson with criminal damage to a woman’s car.

According to a news release, witnesses say they saw Jackson kicking the car while arguing with the woman outside a Lawrence club on Dec. 9.

Total damage to the vehicle was more than $3,100 and multiple people were allegedly involved in committing it, the DA Office’s news release indicates.

The threshold for felony charges is $1,000 in damage, but the office has charged Jackson with a misdemeanor.

The news release indicates this is because witness descriptions point to multiple people engaging in the vandalism, meaning Jackson was not solely responsible.

It says witnesses say they saw him kick the driver’s door and a rear taillight.

Damage to those two areas was estimated at about $1,130. The news release says felony charges were not brought “because the State cannot prove beyond a reasonable doubt that all the damage to the door and taillight were caused by Jackson.”

The DA’s news release says the incident occurred at 545 Wisconsin Street after an altercation that began inside the Yacht Club involving the woman and Jackson’s friend. Officers determined the woman threw a drink on a male patron while leaving the club.

The press release notes that defendants are presumed innocent until proven guilty.

Jackson, a freshman from Detroit, is the second-leading scorer and rebounder for No. 3 KU, which secured a share of its 13th straight Big 12 regular-season championship with Wednesday night’s win against TCU. Jackson averages 16.5 points and 7.1 rebounds for the Jayhawks (25-3, 13-2 Big 12).

KU will play at Texas at 5 p.m. Saturday. KU has yet to announce whether Jackson will be allowed to play in that game.

I haven't seen a single play from this game and refuse to. The Longhorn network picks our games to put on tehir little money grab because its such a big deal for UT fans to beat Kstate. They won't admit that fact.

Not even about money..its about Currie. Think Brad wants to work for a guy that railroaded Frank because of ego and the desire to cover his own ass. JC turned his back on all of them when they needed him most.

Someday, Brad might come back.... in the near term, expect Ostate to pass our program.

our only recourse is that somehow the Longhorns figure out some offense today against what is clearly the worst defense in the Big XII.

Underwood comes to Bramlage next week. Get those poster markers out...We need a serious homecoming welcome for him.

Baylor returning to the basement is a huge boost of confidence...

A loss to Oklahoma at home...then a win in Stillwater on November 18th is a must. Winning on the road in November against Ostate would be a really tough task....and no way a 2 loss KSU makes it in.....Rest of the best teams in the league are at home...the roadies are layups if Kstate brings their A game.


Is Vanderbilt any good? No doubt we'll be their Superbowl and I predict some sort of uniform gimmick that day.

Roy Williams recruited like crazy for them and their assistants were top notch...

We had Altman, who was good, ..the perception back then was that KSU can't fall even an inch behind their program or you get the axe, Add in Dana never wanting to be a part of their country club old boys group...and he was shown the door.

Then Asbury promptly destroyed everything in 3 years,. (how could we forget J. Massey??? LOL!!! )...... then Tex Winter sold the admin on Jim Woolridge....there's 6 more years of completey futility... (see '02 Big XII Tourney loss to Colorado)........ Then Huggins wanted a paycheck again and called KState and said "hey I'm coaching for you guys"......and then he bolted to WVU because their school knew he'd leave for them.......... which brought Martin, the one successful guy we could have ever had hoped for......then... Currie boots Martin because two egos like that can't fit on one planet, and our donors are polly princesses that don't like cussing............... and here we are with oscar who rode Frank's coattails just like we thought he would.

30 years goes by fast.

not even a fan rumor of their seats even being warm... Their teams are terrible....

but we're spoiled....Right? Frank gave us a taste and we want more of what we can never have. Settle in kids...could be a long finish to the decade.
