You have to at least let Avery get one attempt in a 4 down series from the 5 yard line.

I would have rolled with him by the second quarter but inserting him at that point is a pretty obvious indication of what the play call is going to be

Howard mumped the first one up. If he runs to the right it's a TD but Howard looks for contact

snyder's downfall was the ego he built around coaching up try-hards, all klieman has to do is avoid that. he seems a lot more about wins than other stuff that snyder was - legacy, ego about his way of doing things, hooking up his boys with coaching jobs, family.

His downfall was he got old AF. Snyder was an objectively great coach, he was just physically and mentally incapable of voluntarily hanging it up.

One of those boys he hooked up with a coaching job is doing pretty well as our OC.

His actual son is currently on staff with the best team KU has had maybe ever but certainly in the last decade.

Honestly don't remember it. Don't remember thinking any were justifiable or trying to fit a window that wasn't there. Just remember thinking he locked in on one receiver or he poorly misfired in an egregious manner.  Not sure what happened to him over the summer but he's regressed terriblely and it's tough to watch after seeing him play like a big swinging dick last year
