You rough ridin' w/this, MIR?
You're such a fascist POS. I'd love to tangle with your POS ass. You seriously are the worst human out there. Let me know next time you'd like to talk crap face to face! Enjoy Iowa, poor.
i apologize for that. Not sure why he went nuclear but alas i bitFanning tho
Is it like that all the time with him or was today a new level of extreme?
36 kickoffs on the season; 12 touchbacks, 2 returns of 20-29 yards, 3 returns of 30-39 yards, 0 returns of 40+When they were talking about the wind not mattering they were specifically referring to two consecutive over throws that Ertz had it wasn't in relation to kicking.I really hate his approach to kickoffs. Our coverage typically doesn't net us any gain versus kicking it to the endzone.I really hate Sean.
Did you not hear the broadcasters talk about the wind issues? We had multiple touchbacks last week. OU didn't have any touchbacks either.
Actually incorrect as the first and last drives we had started with touchbacks.

And the announcers were pretty clear that wind should matter that much.
But point is that this has been a consistent issue where his schemes out do what we can actually do on field.
No the point is that when the kicker is able to kick the ball in the endzone he can. He benched Patterson because he wasn't able to get touchbacks, now the kicker gets them when he can, I'm not sure what more you expect from a position coach.
I'm also 80% confident that if you averaged the defensive field position on non touchback kicks it would be near or inside the 25 but its whatever I'm sure you would find some loophole to avoid saying you were actually wrong.
Yes I'm avoiding it. Or you stuck your foot in your mouth and are now the one obfuscating because you were wrong. Because nothing says loophole like a binary right wrong statement and not paying attention to the game drives. OU has the ability to cover and that is why they didn't use the touchback. I guess McCrane did something different when he got his touchback the one time he was (probably) allowed to.
But I'd welcome someone to show me some stats on the field position advantage.
dt is the best
myself and my good buddy @racistmir will be there, come join us for some beers and women soccer talk
If someone in his inner circle doesn't encourage him to leave right now they are doing him a disservice, not kidding either. If he leaves now and transfers to the FBS he'll be eligible after six games next year. It's important because he's already burned his red shirt.
Yea, then he can struggle to compete with an FCS QB somewhere.
Did they say what the specific injury was with Ertz?
if we put 350 mil into a football facility we damn sure better put 5+ a year into a coachDoes it matter if we finish 8th or 6th? Other than whatever garbage bowl we would go to that nobody watches? It kinda does I guess. Kinda.
It matters to me.
I'm definitely still in and I won't quit but if I were given a choice of 5-7 and a new staff or 7-6 with the same staff for 2017, I'm taking that 5-7 and running like Forrest Gump.
we won't get fleck.
Shut your mouth
Why do you think we could get Fleck? I like many of the things you and others have posted here about him, but why would we have a chance?
I'm all for laying down some serious cash and years for a young coach (not if it's some re-tread crap like Currie will want). But I'm just curious why Fleck would pick us once he starts fielding offers.

2004 we won four games, same total as we will get this season

you think we will lose at home to kansas?
Anybody listen to the LHC LHC Bill Snyder Show last night?
His memory is getting the best of him unless he said the following purposely but why he would do that I'm not sure. Anyway, he was asked by a caller: what were some of his most memorable wins here and he said the first win vs. Northern Iowa and then the Big 12 Championship game in '97 or '98, he couldn't seem to remember which of those two seasons, both wrong of course, that win occurred vs. #1 OU. I think it's a combination of his age and corresponding memory loss beginning to set in and two, he's not one to reflect on the past, which could make it harder to remember specific dates or who you beat in your first victory here.
Northern Iowa (loss to Terry Allen) was his first home game, I noted on one of his weekly teleconfrences (a Monday) he referred to Charles Jones as "JJ" twice, this happens and it's not fun. My dad went through the same thing at the same age, gotta hunch this season is it for Coach Snydes
It's entirely possible he took it as most memorable games or most memorable losses and just misheard the question. JJ could also be a nickname for Charles Jones among teammates/coaches that we aren't aware of.
