What would a Manhattan area spread look like these days? I haven't been back in years. A pan full of Rusty's burgers and fries would have been the most iconic thing when I was living there.

Lethal Weapon 2.

This was also where I learned of their plight  "but, but.....you're bleck!"

He stuck around Ames and finally broke through the 10 win ceiling. Well done. Now go spread your wings, Matt and show those Jets fans what you can do!!!  :Woot:

Mich, I think you really just want him to be good, and want to be positive about it. A lot of the things he does almost beg the question of whether or not he’s healthy. That said he still went 8-4, 5-4 as a sophomore in the XII (which is really pretty mediocre tho), and put up respectable stats as a true sophomore.

Ell Roberson struggled so much as a sophomore that it took until a win over USC as a junior to solidify the starting job over Marc Dunn. Hopefully AJ can finish his career in a similar fashion.

I'm sorry, AJ has none of the swag Ell had but maybe that comes from winning. We were on a tear this year after BYU but somthing else clogged up the gears. That could be on the coaches and Avery is still a sophmore, but he wasn't the problem tonight. It was everything else. So many botched plays. If AJ sticks around, we need something to change to help him get to Ell Roberson status.

I think this "player led program" experiment can only take you so far. Didn't Klieman once say something like the coaches didn't even need to be at practices because the players knew how to run all the exercises? This was last year with an older team and I know they didn't actually skip practices, but I don't think the guys are getting the attention to detail with this kind of approach.

It could be 24-20. And a shot. And now it's done
Two fg's effed up. Maybe a special teams coach is needed.

Oh wait...

Maybe there's a better thread for this, but I need some degenerate betting hot takes. I've got two $25 free bonus bets expiring tomorrow night and want to use them on the Chiefs Broncos game. Any meaty parlays anyone is riding with? Will there be more rushing or passing TD's from KC? High scoring or a bruiser? Chiefs cover -7.5? Need a good swing-for-the-fencer and a solid lock to pocket the free $$

Meh this isn’t a Big 12 championship team even in the low probability we pop back up in the conversation a few weeks from now.

+1

TaqMan and TaqLady will be there as well. Driving in from NC on Friday and staying in Uniontown, PA. Section 100. I hope the WV fans aren't as bad as the CU fans from stories I've heard.

Is Keagan Johnson like hurt? I've seen him once on the field. He's got to get 31.5+ yards to drill my +650 or so parlay. Come on dude

The announcers sounding audibly depressed as the Cats begin to pour it in is music to my ears.

WyattVision is so much more soothing. Stan is off his rocker though

Online sports betting just became a thing here in NC in March of last year. I signed up for one of the sports books with minimal skin in the game to take advantage of the $100 in free bets or whatever the offer was for new sign ups. After burning through those (mostly misses), I'd make a few wagers here and there on Cats games or other "locks" I'd hear from more seasoned sports betters and turned that into a balance of a whopping $146! Haven't touched it since. I don't have the fortitude to wager hundreds of dollars on the outcome of a game, but betting the occasional $20 on Big12 matchups is fun and makes following the New Big12 teams a little more enjoyable.

It's probably just an iron on patch his wife got from Dillon's. Probably has several shirts with those things stuck on them.

Like if we roll out Ames and two new transfer guards with Buddy and Colbert we are going to get rough ridin' torched every night. There just aren't any combination of bigs currently on the roster where if we play them both at the same time we aren't playing 3 on 5 offensively.

I'm not on Twitter so can't confirm, but I heard Buddy Rich removed all the K-State stuff from his socials. Sounds like he might be portaling?
