Pretty close to saying it here - source is what it is :).

Quote
“I’m going to do my best to lead and improve my leadership as best as I can and to improve my game as much as I can,” he said. “I’m very fortunate to have another year to come back and play this game for one more year. I’m going to give it everything I have. I promise you this time next year I will have no regrets and I’m already looking forward to get back to it.”

“At the end of the day, I’m here to build this program, too,” Thompson said. “I want the future here at K-State to be successful with everything I have for Coach Klieman and for my pride of being an alum someday. I want this place to be successful and I want this place to win a national championship, so I’m going to do my best to rub off on the young guys as best I can to help them learn the offense and grow as players all the time.

“I’m really excited to get Will here in the spring and to work with him in the winter and try to mold him into a future player here and get more competition in the room. The more guys, the better. Competition is going to make everyone better and that’ll be really good for us.”

I'd be surprised to see Skylar go early.  Just based on what I've heard him say in interviews.

Looks like Frantz is projecting out in several places (I have no idea which of these projections are worth a damn)  like he will be drafted.  Seems like he is trending up.  Wonder if Risner (and other Wildcat OL NFL success) is helping his stock?

Walker seems like he is not projecting as a draft pick or very late if so.

I think the streak is a good thing to have for recruiting and advertising during key games.  Would hate to see it go.

1995 @Cincinnati I was in my room with a few friends listening to Mitch on the old clock radio.  When Lockett made the catch the entire campus exploded.  True EMAW experience.  Even people you were quite sure didn't know football existed came running out cheering.

Seems like whatever fraternity ($1.65?) that was in charge of it had a dumbass stick his face in it when it went off.    It was kind of cartoonish when it happened -- smoke coming from his blackened head as he fell to the ground.  He ended up getting up and walking to the ambulance on his own accord.   It was shortly after this incident that the cannon disappeared.  Not sure if the events are related -- I always assumed liability premiums went up too high or the kids parents sued or something but never really heard the true story from anyone.

Derrick Cheivous.  Anybody who can make a band-aid cool gets my vote.
