For a minute there I thought Miege Cat was going to get choked out over a Power Rangers dispute.

He did a great job overall but totally butchered that question. I'm surprised winters didn't use his finishing wrestling move on him.

Good seeing a bunch of you gE bros

rough ridin' nerds, the answer was and still is 8.

NO

Easily one of the best humans I've ever encountered.

Absolutely just the most kind hearted person. Paul that is an amazing story, but just a totally normal thing that I would expect from him.

The fact that I haven't been mentioned in this thread is pissing me off.

I'd love to setup a Zoom meeting where folks can share their Brady stories. Since I'm sure you all have memories of posts he's made, tailgate highlights, or any random stories. Brady was great and I wanna hear about things he's done that I'm not privy to.

Brady was the rough ridin' best.

He's one of the main reasons I got my job at Hot 103 Jamz. I was at Manhattan Broadcasting and carless at the time I applied at Hot 103. They scheduled my interview for a Saturday. Brady offered to let me take his truck to KC for it. After interviewing Saturday they asked me to come back for an additional interview the next day. Which was fine because I wasn't working weekends...then they asked me to come back again on Monday (shoulda seen that red flag, but alas) and Brady was totally cool with me keeping it longer than we had agreed upon.

Last time I saw him (10/28/20), he asked me pick him up to take him to pick up his car that had just finished being serviced out on Barry Rd. After dropping him off, I had some errands to run in the area before heading home to KCK (read: a long drive for my shitty car). My engine blew right as I was passing Argosy casino. I can let you guess who picked me up and took me home.

Brady was a God amongst men. Rest In Greatness.

I tried two episodes of Red Oaks and thought it was very boring and unfunny. Oh, well.

Really? I thought the opening scene was gold.

you amazon primers really oughta give Red Oaks a try.  it's very funny.

Red Oaks is hella dope. Tired of new shows with nothing but wypipo tho. Even if it is set on a country club in the 80s
there's an indian guy in it!

#whiteboo said the same thing

Nathan 4 You also just got renewed.  Season 4!

I'm a comic and Nathan 4 You makes me cringe. I get the humor, but the awkwardness for the people not in on the joke makes my skin crawl.

G sauce?

Seems likely, but naw. Rather have actual crack than that lovely substitute.

Question: is crack known to enhance the flavor of food? If so, then crack and deep fried catfish filets, hot sauce, seasoned fries and an Arnold Palmer. If not, same thing.

2. buffalo chicken tacos from lucha(lots)
3. Olivia Wilde(lots)

Apparently, it's not all pot smoke and rainbows. A friend that lives in Denver chimed in when I posted this on FB. Sorry in advance for all the reading.

This article is bias! The sales tax revenue lagged projections prior to legalization, but not by much. There are a whole host of other things going on here as well that they ignore. My guess is that the author does not live here, and doesn't actively participate in this industry

Quote
A blaring exception would be the unregulated butane extraction process that has caused a couple of explosions in recent weeks. Another would be the demographics shift of Pueblo County, one of the early counties to implement recreational. A third would be the Cherry Creek cartel bust that was linked to a major dispensary here. A fourth would be the unfair financial restrictions that have been placed upon dispensaries that have led to burglaries. There is a lack of availability of commercial warehouse space here, and many dispensaries conduct operations in houses zoned as residential properties. There are positive aspects of legalization that they ignore also... but basically this article doesn't take a real look at what is going on here

Quote
There are problems with the Federal government classifying it as a schedule 1 drug. That means the Feds have effectively refused to regulate the operations, except to mandate cash only transactions and occasionally bust dispensaries. It's led to a lot of problems. A lot of these companies trade as pink sheet penny stocks and have zero credibility. There are also a lot of great businesses here that have sprouted up. It really is the wild west out here, and there is a lot left to shake out. Short term, Colorado was probably better off when back when it was illegal, but decriminalized. But over the long term it may be very positive, especially if the legalization trend goes national. The people that operate here are well positioned to grow nationwide if that happens.
