« on: May 05, 2024, 12:11:43 AM »I live within 15 minutes of a buc-ee’s, but nobody in my family owns any apparel. Don’t listen to these guys. Yes, it’s only a gas station. But, as far as gas stations go it’s unbelievable. If you just want quick gas and don’t want to deal with crowds pay at the pump like it’s post 1990. The food is great for a gas station, the gas prices are cheap, the bathrooms are numerous, private, and clean AF.It’s fine. Nothing that special about them.
It's strange to me how people freak out about them. I mean sure, go once. And they do in fact have nice bathrooms. But if I'm stopping to get gas, I want to get in and out and not have to deal with throngs of customers, 50 employees, and a fuggin' mascot.

I might see you if I manage to hit my second shot good enough to be near your drive.Maybe try moving the ball back a little bit in your stance, and shifting the balls of your back foot in line with the arch of your front foot?? This can help make the clubhead take more of an inside to outside path.

College football and basketball have to transition to a pro-model. It is the only way to maintain a fair balance of compensation and freedom for the players and a product that fans want to watch.In all seriousness, when you really boil down to it, what's even the point of college sports if they do that? It's essentially just minor leagues with an option to draft AFTER (as opposed to before) seeing them play amongst a more competitive and thinned herd.

Our broker for BCBS of TX quoted us a premium increase of 35% in response. That’s on a $6K deductible PPO. WTaF!?! It is forcing our CEO/CFO/HR to consider the age of who they hire next, and the health history of who they keep. We are strongly in the black so I dont expect much to change. However, if we were struggling, or ran by a PE firm, I’m not sure I’d expect to see equitable treatment. Working in an “at will” state they can let you go for pretty much anything as long as they cover their butt and dont say/do anything stupid.wtf? Unless things change (unlikely any time soon), you're going to be working until you die :(And for a company large enough to absorb those kinds of insurance claims without causing premiums to shoot up. What a mumped up system we have.
Until you mentioned it, I hadn't considered how mumped up our system is for the leading global superpower western democracy. Hmmm

I must be dead inside. I visited the Grand Canyon with my wife during our Fiesta Bowl trip of 2013, and I thought it was neat, but didn’t exactly have a spiritual moment. I’m in the path today and will be jacked up for my son, but not overly excited in all honesty. Should I look into prozac?

A couple of things here. First, her choice wasn't between staying and going to the wnba. Her choice was between going into her career as a counselor full time, or playing one more year while continuing to work, part time. Second, if the choice was between the wnba and coming back to play and collect some nil, she likely would have made more in the wnba, even with the tiny salary of $72,000 that she would have gotten. Endorsement deals aren't specific to college athletes and she wasn't just handed 6 or 7 figures, for nothing, like some college athletes are.
