I hope OK_Cat's recent PI of the guy with the should cross tattoo doesn't hamper the responses to this thread.

I'm pretty judgmental of anyone with a tattoo that's not a serial number on their forearm. Unless they're an elite athlete or a grizzled old sailor (in the latter case, all tattoos must be obscene in an old-timesy way).

if i ever saw you and your stupid tattoos, then you'd be even closer to dying.  like, right that instant, after i punched your face into your face.  I can't even tell if you are a man or a woman based on those, but i don't even care.  if you're a woman, i'll bust your face with my sink so hard that the sink breaks into at least 3 pieces.  i don't even care, so be it.

I think the fact that you get this upset over someone you don't know having tattoos would be a pretty good reason why you'll die young. You should really watch those stress levels of yours.

My tattoo is timeless and will always have meaning.   This one symbol has been responsible for the fate of my entire life and the only way I could think to pay tribute to is have it tattooed from my neck stretching all the way down to my buttock.  It cost me nearly $7500 to complete.

Yep, getting my zodiac sign tattooed on my back was without a doubt the best decision I've ever made.

Yeah a lot of people pull off "tats*" really well. I mean how do you know if you will like it once its on you or if you won't look ridiculous with it.
But its there forever you know. For-Ever.

That's pretty hilarious.

I once saw some drunk football player in college heat up a metal clothes hanger on a stove top and "brand" his shoulder with a cross. His buddies then quickly  advised him to "disinfect" it by pouring beer on it.

Tattoos are one of those things you should not be brutally honest to someone about.

I like tattoos on a girl as long as it is not upper arm or tramp stamp.

11. None of which can be seen if I dont want them to. It's a personal thing - not ashamed of them, but there are still those out there who dont want tattooed people working for them and I get that. I wouldn't necessarily want someone with sleeves representing me either.

Funny, when I see those folks with the tattoos on their necks or hands or someone with the HUGE holes in thier ear lobes etc - I always think, "There is someone I will never have to worry about competing with for a job." Anyway, I still have plans on getting more - I dig 'em.

Well, pa always told me he would whip me good if I ever came home with a tattoo. One time, I won a stick on tattoo from one of those egg droppin' machines at the Pizza Hut in the city. I put it on my face before I went to grandma's house. Boy, was she spittin' mad. She drug me into the bathroom and scrubbed the tattoo off of my face, then she had grandpa tan my hide. That learned me good.

My body already looks pretty fantastic.  :dunno:

Tattoos are like steak sauce. Only needed on the less desirable cuts of meat.

It's more comparable to the relationship between ketchup and fries. Good on every kind, but not always necessary.

Mohawks are usually pretty sweet. Tattoos and gauges can gtfoomf. I'm kind of on the fence about piercings. Some are cool. Some just look really painful and pointless.

As a general rule, people with tattoos are trash.

I play ball at the Y with a guy that has a Detroit Lions tattoo. I was like, how long have you had that? And he said he waited until they got the new logo.  So he got it right after their 0-16 season.  So all you "I was at the Austin Peay game" mother fuckers can suck his dick.

Ok, I'm the guy with the shoulder cross.  Here's my list.

1. Shoulder cross
2. Greek word for Shine down the back of my left arm
3. Nautical Star in the middle of my upper back.
4/5.  Two Diving Swallows on each side of the Star.

You anti-tattoo hicks are really quite hilarious.  Would your grandma not approve of you getting a tattoo?  Or are you too fat and disgusting to wear anything but a hoodie and sweatpants?  Or you're just  :opcat:

You have a borderline tramp stamp bro.

Ladies if you must, please make them small and cute.

I just hate it when a good looking chick has an arm tat or a hostamp.

Why ruin a good thing?

I think my no tat bias comes from my formative Playboy years in the early 90s when chick tats weren't a thing.

Pretty cool. Questions?

1) How much does something like that cost?
2) Why next to your boob?
3) Are you just going to keep shaving or let it flow? Update pic with the flow if possible.

1.  This was 4.5 hours by this artist.  Artists vary from $100-$500 an hour.  This artist was somewhere in the middle of the range.
2.  Because that is where the chest is generally located, next to the boob.
3. Going to keep it shaved with a guard, might get unruly during busy times.  I will try and remember to snap a pic.
