Lame to say this, but a true BWW experience is my favorite. I can spend a whole day there.
Some wings, a few beers, Phillips 66 games on the big screens, some nachos, a few more beers, and Buzztime trivia throwdown to cap it off.
Pretty much the best day ever.

I have almost completely switched over to the popcorn shrimp. I order "off" menu and get a traditional wing (Caribbean Jerk) and popcorn shrimp combo, with medium sauce on the side (for dipping shrimp).

used to go to the bww in lawrence quite a bit. they had something like two dollar bottle night on wednesdays or something. anyway, they had those fosters oil can things and considered those bottles so you were getting like 22 ounces for like two bucks and you'd often see the town homeless/drunkies in there drunking it up. saw a few of them fall off their chairs and get kicked out one night.
current go to- hot two boners. the one bone wings are terrible. hate them. like boneless but sometimes they don't put enough of the sauce on and you're like gmafb if i just wanted chicken strips i'd just go somewhere and order those. christ.

yeah. i think the media is to blame for the one bone proclivity. to tell you the truth though, i'm not 100% sure and haven't really investigated it too far because it works to my advantage here. i order a bunch of wings with someone else and i'm all brer rabbit in the briar patch w/ the two boners. re: queso, no. haven't had it. just not one of those things you think of while you're there. i'll give it a shot based on your reco though.

sometimes I will order the queso with no chili and instead dump a thing of hot wing sauce in it. I'm off my rocker like that sometimes.

Went with the "Wild" flavor this week (2nd hottest) and holy crap socks I think I need a new esophagus. Usually get 12 wings (bone out) 6 Jerk and 6 Spicy Garlic. Also, they have a pulled pork nacho that is out of sight. :gocho:

My local BWW's has the best TV setup in town, and some good local bands out on the patio in the summer. All the other places I like are 5-10 miles away, and require pre-planning because of the gauntlet of cops you have to drive back home through. The beach cops are particularly aggressive.

How many TVs does your local BWW have? I haven't got an official count on mine but I would estimate it at roughly a million.

I don't know about the rest of the place, but the bar area has like 20 42 inch flat screens and 3 huge projection screens.
There are several other places in town that can come close on numbers of TV's, but the viewing angles suck and they suck at programming.

BWW has good wings, cheap beer, and great TVs/programming. All in all, they're pretty damn good places to watch a game. (Though I have to be careful not to get too pak'd there, with all the families around.)

My BWW (prolly all of them) have to have a required set of beers on tap and then get to choose their last three of which one is supposed to be local. I got 312 on tap last round. They also have Widmer Wheat in a bottle which is required by BWW Corporate. You can't even buy it in Omaha (you can in lincoln though) because the Omaha distributors don't carry it.

Went to a BDubs last night with my family after my 12 year old nephew and his little league all star team won their first round game in the State tourney. One of the boys decided to try one Blazin' wing. He regretted it. They all then egged me on to try one. I smothered a boneless wing(already doused in hot sauce) into the basket of Blazin' sauce and downed it. No big deal until about 2minutes afterward when I had already eaten a second one. My lips started hurting pretty badly. It's no joke.
I told the boys if they win State I'll do The Blazin' Challenge.

They have a location right near where a bunch of Marines are based. It has a sign inside behind the bar that says "18: Old enough to get shot, old enough to get a shot" and it makes me laugh for lots of reasons every time.

Picked up an order of BWW today after getting the dogs nails trimmed. As I’m standing there to wait for my order, I glared down at their menu. Guess what I saw that I had never seen before? They have an app that is Buffalo chicken smothered on top of tots with bleu cheese! Holy crap, guys! I need to try this. It’s all of my favorite things mixed in one. :love:

Jethro's wings are good but too expensive. I used to like the Jethro's at Drake, I ate there before they opened all of the ridiculous restaurants all over the area, and it was very good, I even think they smoked their meat there. Now with their 80 restaurants they're complete garbage.

Totally. My son enjoy the challenge of dipping his fries into the most insanely hot sauce they have. It's like a episode of Fear factor when we go to BWW. MMA and Joe Rogan on the TV's typically, and our very own culinary death trials.

Received a gift card for my birthday from a buddy (he got me BWW specifically because he knows my disdain for it) and I decided to use it tonight. It is truly incredible how bad their wings are. Additionally laughable are the veggie sticks that come with it. They use baby carrots you'd get in a bag at Dillon's ffs. It used to at least be edible but it's barely even that anymore. Funny thing is the place was packed.
