taking a "senior day" this friday. should be alright i suppose.

I hear the new parking garage is pretty elite. While you're there, if you go by the alumni center and union you can probably get a bunch of free stuff.

Get good grades. Don't be one of those people that go all crazy and drink too much and get Ds. Talk to people and be outgoing. Go to all the sporting events. Be nice to everyone. That's pretty much all I got right now :dunno:

Get involved in lots of organizations, especially as an officer in your second year. Run for student senate (if you want to). Play soccer in Old Stadium with foreigners.

If you aren't in a frat then make sure that you get involved in campus life. Meet tons of people and then decide who to be friends with.

have reffed softball and basketball before. but would rather participate than just ref you know?
thinking of joining a frat, cire. seems like the best way to meet peeps.

You don't even have to apply, just show up at the meeting thingys to get trained.
But if you do that, know something about the sport. I absolutely hate it when the dude reffing has never played soccer before.

my advice to you, become a doctor. do some lame pre-med major, get great grades, join organizations (like kk said) and use that incredible face of yours to slip into medical school.

You can work in the kitchen/bar back and bounce before your 21 dood. You get all the advantages of working at a bar without becoming jaded by the illusion of wealth after making $100 a night bartending only to realize 5 years later that your 27, still work at a bar, still make the same each night and have no health insurance when you visit your doctor about your ailing liver.

Don't go into architecture. Don't get me wrong, it drops panties, but it's a lot of work for not a ton of pay. Become a pharmacist. They stand around all the time and get paid tons of scratch.

Loved University Experience. Loved it.
It's an easy A and the only chance you'll ever have at going to see a Cello concert in your life. You won't want to go to different events (like the aforementioned cello concert), but it's easy and kind of cool. Mostly easy though.

I was thinking in terms of Cash and free pizza. Not a great job. It's probably changed but when I was in school jobs were tough to come by.

I ate 20 wings doused in their hottest sauce (suicide? nuclear? can't remember what it was called) on a bet one Monday night. Guy said that they had to scrape the bottom of the barrel for the sauce, so there were more spices and it was even hotter than normal. Immediately after, I rubbed my eyes before washing my hands. I spent the next 10 minutes downstairs in the bathroom with my head under the sink, running water over my eyes.
