It seems in ever sport we're projected to finish middle/end of the Big 12 every year. .  Iowa State, really??

Accurate as far as ranking teams?  Prolly.  Accurate as far as what's written?  You be the judge:

Quote
John Houlik will be missed on defense, but all four starters are back in the secondary.

Last year, he was sure that Daniel Thomas was competing for the QB spot

But like SD said, common sense says we'll be worse than NU and Mizzou and certainly not significantly better than ISU, KU, CU.  :dunno:

We'll be in full blown contention for our glass ceiling . . . the Alamo Bowl.

Tim Griffin is garbage.

Returning 4/5 starting lineman, the best running back in the Big 12, most likely starting a dual threat quarterback, adding more athleticism overall and our biggest lost being either a TE or CB (mastrud/moore). . . Puts us fifth in the north??? After being one game away from first. Ahh I see that makes sense now.  :blank:

I don't see OSU or KU being better than us. OSU loses everyone and ku loses their greatest coach, greatest QB, and their greatest WR of all time.

srsly. I'm amazed/amused at how much everyone seems to be underestimating the loss of Mangino/Reesing/Meier/Briscoe/Sharp. KU was just absolutely gutted.

I am ok with the rankings, just makes him look like an even bigger dumbass when we finish in the top half of the north, and history keeps waiting for ku.

I loved arguing with the phog about whether it would be harder to replace Gregory or Reesing. Good times.

I still can understand how a coach that was 20-30 (or whatever) in a shitty conference can get hired at a Big 12 school. Maybe UK should join the Mo Valley or MAC?

I don't even wet a finger to turn a page on football previews until the best in the biz, P. Steele, offers us his opinion.

+1

Mr. Steele won me a pitcher of beer when I used his forecast to bet that KSU would finish ahead of ku.

I'm 99% sure Tim Griffin has never ventured North of the Mason-Dixon Line.

Incredible moron who knows nothing of college football.  I believe he's "left" ESPN.com, so this will be he last epic fail re: Big XII football
