Obviously we cannot learn to speak other languages in this country, due to the fluoride in our water. However, if this were not the case, and we could indeed learn to speak another language, which would you choose?
I would choose Japanese. Many good reasons to speak Japanese. If my wife dies, I want to try and have sex with a Japanese chick, and I believe it would be easier to do if I could lie to them in their native tongue. Also, I am pretty athletic and wouldn't mind trying ninja school. Living in Japan would also be fun, because they have beer in their pop machines.

Mexican

Is it because of menus, or other reasons?

I want to be able to talk to Frank Martin in his native language, Mexican

One of the languages that the south american jungle tribes speak. I would move in with them, walk around naked, and never worry about anything ever again except for dangerous jungle creatures.

Not necessary. You can just wear a sweet shirt and point out to them what it says on the back. Panty-dropper.
I'd like to be able to speak in the foreign language of in-depth football analysis, preferably in ALL CAPS.
-
German
Might have to infiltrate the Nazi's again.

So the only thing keeping you from doing this is the language barrier?

You should see if your local library has mango access. If they do, its a free online language learning tool (that you can use at home) that's supposed to be pretty damn good.
You can also buy ot for yourself, but why buy when you can get for free?

Yes and no. I definitely believe in a North versus South America distinction, but I cannot approve of calling Europe a continent separate from Asia. Call me a hypocrite, but we worked awfully damn hard on that canal to let it amount to nothing.

that's one that gets me too. here's another thing: some people claim australia is an island, not a continent.

If you know latin, you know so much about many other languages, since it is the root of most western languages.
And I can read stuff like E Pluribus Unum.

Can you imagine the look on tech supports face when you start asking them questions in perfect Indian?

The clip also said that they have a "work name." So "Sarah" from AT&T might actually be Ankita or Amrusha.

Our Indian call center people are amazing. Super polite and get crap done. No complaining or giving me the business. Always ask if it would be ok to put me on hold and then apologize when they come back 10 seconds later. I want to hi-five them every time I have an issue and they rough ridin' nail it.
