Tom Osborne: Sadler's job is secure[/size]
"He's never asked for anything," Osborne said. "When you figure most of the schools in the Big 12 have practice facilities or are completing them, it's pretty hard to recruit. When you don't have a huge tradition in basketball and your facilities aren't as good as some other people... We're going to have facilities with the addition of the arena that will be in the upper 10 percent nationally."

Nobody here gives a crap about basketball (I didn't even know the season started), so as long as doc boy doesn't bitch about facilities and beats creighton once every 3 years he will be here as long as I can continue to pay him a 1/8 of what the special teams coach on the football team makes, oh and we'll be in the big 10 next year where NOBODY cares about basketball and Doc's slow style of play will seem almost lightning quick
and the new arena Tom mentioned is being paid for by the Lincoln taxpayers, so the 'braska athletic department doesn't have to foot the bill

I think he does. NU gets a lot of credit for their above average performance against mediocre competition in the noncon and then it evaporates when he goes 1-7 in the first half of conference.

I love Doc, love him. But he gets more credit than a coach who consistently finishes in the basement of his division deserves....probably a lot more.

I saw him when he played for that mid-major before he transferred. Seemed a lot like Curry. He scores but he seems to take a lot of shots to do it (not necessarily bad on a Mid-Major). I'd assume he doesnt shoot the same volume as before. Still pretty good tho
