Title: Biggest mistakes...
Post by: kso_FAN on February 03, 2010, 07:19:34 AM
that I have made as a K-State fan.

1) (and its not even close) Get overly excited and follow Football recruiting, especially signing day.
2) Think that Wooly could turn around K-State basketball and remain supportive for at least 2 years too long.
3) Go and watch a couple girl's basketball games when they were good thinking it would be fun.

When has Bill ever shown the ability to change one of his fundamental beliefs? Ever?

I think Bill did change methods in some ways; offering earlier, technology, etc.  I just don't think we have guys that are going to land players consistently from Texas, Florida, etc.

We have proven to be pretty good at recruiting local guys that hated Prince though.

Yeah.  I mean, getting Del Miller on these kids early really isn't any different that sicking him on them late.

My take on Women's basketball-

1) trading a Shaq rookie card for the entire 1996-7 KSU b-ball team's autographed media bios.
2) sitting in the 2004 KU student section and then talking insane amounts of sh1t after Dylan and the cats took the lead
3) 2003 CCG, decided to have a, theoretically, insanely awesome party at parent's home.  Instead, ended up having to kick a guy out for being weird and playing with a knife while talking to a female friend.  That, and a drunk a-hole spilled sangria.
4) sharting my pants during brandon archer's int during snyd's last game and thinking this was a supernatural moment
5) buying my a-hole uncle a $40 ticket to battle of the bob's (huggins v. knight)
6) 1998 exuberant victory lap I literally took around TWA dome upon UCLA score announcement
