I lost my marbles and just went bonkers. I’m a lil surprised the Mission KS police did not pay me a visit

Like, probably the most bonkers I’ve gone for K St hoops in 13 years.
For about 20 seconds i wasn’t a man. I was an animal
-
I first pumped hard, and when Johnson hit his step back I yelled a bit.

Because you are a K STATE CAT STUD

Let’s just say if coach had been at my house I’d still be doing push-ups
-
successfully managing to subdue myself was one of my greatest feats
-
I did not, I was a combo of shocked and nervous. When key hit his, I went nuts tho. I stood up and didn't sit until nearly an hour after the game ended.
-
I made noises that weren’t words but resembled words

At times the English language isn’t sufficient to express our feelings

I made this sound:

Exact same. Big grin for that Ish 3, though. Like “yeahHH THERE HE IS”

When the ball left ish’s hand my wife kind of made a shriek and I was like “that’s his shOTTTTTTT!”
-
I jumped up and exclaimed "SWISH!!!"

Crazy for Key. Hands up fully expecting Ish to be money as I do every time he fires a catch and shoot three.
-
Mild to moderate shouting after Ish's 3. Shouting after Johnson's 3 was another order of magnitude louder.
-
At first I was:

Then I was:

-
Ish's 3 was more like a surprise shock, Johnson's was pure elation
-
I did a couple laps around the couch after the Quis/Tomlin no look 'oop before halftime
-
I yelled so loud that my neighbors probably heard me.
-
Ish’s three was absolutely incredible, 100x more exciting than Johnson’s
-
Ish was a fist pump, Key was a scream
-
I think the sound I made when Ish made his 3 was something like a jump scare squeal?
-
Ish’s 3 - was working in the hospital and everybody in the ER heard me. Ke’s was just icing with a fist pump.
-
My nervous energy and yelps were really unsettling to my dog. She was a wreck as well. I don’t think I sat down for the last 5+ minutes of game time.
-
My 3 year old said "Dada, you're to loud!"

It went something like the Howard Dean yell

OK this is hard for me. My wife and fellow K-State grad died of cancer in January. All game, I remembered the 2018 Kentucky game. She watched that game upstairs and I downstairs because I could get a little too crazy for her. But on every big play, I would hear hear screams and yells. Yesterday, I went wild and imagined her doing the same somewhere. K-State basketball and football have been a godsend to me this fall and winter.
-
I'm sorry for your loss Z, it's wonderful you're able to somewhat relive that special moment.

I'm really sorry to hear this. Hope that you are able to draw joy and strength from these good KSU memories.

Thanks for sharing and I'm happy that Kstate athletics has been able to help you through the tough times and bring back good memories.

Damn man I'm so sorry. Like others have said tho I'm glad that you can have some good memories of her and that this was a good one.

Man

I hope you're doing well, zif.

It's truly amazing how emotionally involved we can be regarding college sports. My wife was out of town on business for a week and returned today, and the first thing I talked to her about with her was K-State basketball. She's a San Diego native and SDSU grad but has embraced KSU as a fan because of the culture. We both support SDSU sports, but the 'Cats are #1.
'fried, sorry for your loss, and hope the 'Cat success this year brings much needed joy to your life.

Lot of "and then I just went bananas" moments last night. Anyone want to share some?
-
The Ish 3 with about 3 min left in reg. I think I hurt my back a little
-
Is the game on Youtube yet? Need to watch some things
-
But when that ball was loose, that might be the most bonkers I've gone for a K State sports moment.
-
Lotta big bonkers moments in this game and :emawkid: so hard as much as I could.
-
I in fact went bananas when Ish hit that 3 and then again after he hit that baseline J
-
The clip that _FAN tweeted of the last play is great with that view of the KSU section
-

Same, that baseline shot was amazing. Ish was absolutely huge this game. Lil SF has been yelling at me since the game for saying Ish was my MVP of the game.

Ish was insanely big, and Cam had huge buckets too. If Nowell wasn't absolutely bonkers, there are a number of guys you could say were your MVP.

19 fuggin assists is just unreal.

I fully admit that I would let the cats touch me.

I'm so happy for Ish that he was able to have that kind of performance in front of his hometown peeps on the biggest stage in basketball. So glad to see him having success. I took Nov/Dec Schreds outside last night and kicked the crap out of him for screaming at Tang on the TV to never play Ish another minute this season.
-
important to remember that ish was playing out of position early in the year
-
Since the start of Big 12 play he’s 31-73 (42.4%) from deep. I’d love to see the numbers on his catch and shoot threes. He has to be near 60%. He is so clean when he gets his feet set. The ball doesn’t even come down. It’s barely in his hands.
Also, shame on me for not watching more of his (and our team’s) interviews throughout the season.
Ish’s thick NYC accent just makes me love him more.
So happy for Ish and Quis to have that moment.
Saturday needs to be a party. A coronation. These guys deserve a Final Four.
-
Ish is who I would like to be friends with

Lot of "and then I just went bananas" moments last night. Anyone want to share some?
As soon as and quis sent the ball rolling towards midcourt I started running and screaming. I didn't see him pick it up and I didn't see the layup.

That's when I started celebrating but I definitely watched the whole thing. I was surprised the Michigan State players just treated it like any other steal/fast break and didn't try to foul. They looked like they had already given up before the steal even happened.
-
I still can't believe none of them wanted to shoot

yeah, that was weird. My buddy is an MSU fan and he text me after say congrats, but he was like, "WTF didn't they just take a shot?". Honestly, they way the players were biting at any pump fake the whole game, I was totally expecting a pump and then a get fouled on purpose 3.
